***AVOID AT ALL COST***Not sure how this product has any positive reviews, have had several blowouts with the hose and has cost me hundreds of dollars in damages to clients lawns due to roundup uncontrollable spraying everywhere and also covering me head to toe.Have since seen several people with the same problem on Facebook.Unfortunately I miss placed the receipt and also paid cash, so Bunnings won’t do anything about it and silvan just ignore my messages.

Great sprayer. Very powerful and efficient. The strap link failed once but that was just because the strap was twisted. Since I check the strap every time now the link has not failed again. Also, at first I had trouble getting the sprayer to continue spraying the last 2 or 3 litres and it would lose pressure making it unusable but since I figured out I can just take it off my back for the last 2 or 3 litres and hold it at a slight angle to keep a continuous supply to the pump inlet it now performs perfectly right to the last drop. No issues at all. Great piece of equipment.

Better than a manual pump sprayer for sure, but not happy with the flimsy bottom strap lock (has fallen off three times (out of 5 uses) as I tried to get the backpack on with only 8-10L filled). Sprayer seems to struggle once liquid gets to about 10cm high if you're moving which leaves me with wasted product. If I stand perfectly still and spray, then it will spray fine until the liquid is all used up but obviously I need to walk and spray so that's not very functional. End up transferring the last of my liquid to my manual hand sprayer which can suck right down to the very bottom. Would probably go for a Solo sprayer next time as doesn't have the same design flaws. Would return my Silvan if I could but too late now since I couldn't have known about these issues ... We are wondering why we didn't do this earlier! We have a large block and have been trying to make do with smaller hand pump units. This unit is easy to set up, gives a good spray continuously that enables you to concentrate on what you are doing. gets the job done in far less time. Well worth the investment.
I’m a professional pest controller. Used this pack “just to see” what it’s like….I now have x8 packs 🤣😃 Fantastic unit for anyone. Highly recommend using plumbers tape on all main fittings. And if you use daily like me, get the extra order on the plastic elbow fitting for hose outlet. This is essential for high usage I found 👍
Very simple - up to 2 hours battery life is useless. The previous models last 5-6 hours so many other better units out there for only a little extra cost. Would not reccommend
This is the best piece of equipment I have purchased in a long time! Very easy to operate,no pumping required, great for when you have large areas to spray. is quite heavy when full and instructions for assembly could be more detailed, but once assembled it's great
Great product and works really well. we use many products in these sprayers. Only disadvantage for us is too many filters which we remove. but the system is easy to clean and maintain. but hard to get parts for.
Where has this been all my life? I needed about 30L of Bindii herbicide on my lawn and my arm would have been dead from pumping with my manual backpack. The other thing I love: I can tell if it's leaking or not sealed properly because the pump will activate to build pressure. It gives me peace of mind knowing its sealed properly. Super happy with my purchase.
I've been using this for about 4 months to allow me to get to places where my larger UTV tank cannot go. Battery lasts a decent time. Tighten all the connectors before you use it and it wont leak afterwards. Also tighten the small silver screws in the side as they are a bit loose when you get it and can fall out. Straps won't last a long time so expect to replace them - I haven't yet but they're wearing quicker than expected. Overall very handy unit, but expect to replace the straps at some point. Pity Silvan just didnt go that extra mile to make this an awesome long lasting unit.
