SilverStone Distinctive Shark Force Technique Inspired by the hydrodynamic properties of shark skin, Shark Force series fan blades feature similar pattern which passively alters airflow to favourably affect the pressure gradient along fan blades to improve overall airflow performance and noise level Visually Stunning Lighting Utilizing industry standard 4-1 pin ARGB connectors, Shark Force fans allow display of different colour combination by use of compatible motherboard or an ARGB controller Engineered for a Wide Array of Applications Shark Force fans are capable of maintaining quietness under light-loading condition, whilst allowing for industrial fan-level top speeds or fan idle operation through an advanced PWM controller. It's almost as if you are getting two fans in one! Unpleasant Cable Routing, Simplified! Implemented for the first time, a modular cabling design for fan power and ARGB lighting to ease cable management, whilst leaving the option for unplugging and disabling ARGB lighting effects opened Premium Efficiency Motor Construction Utilizing three-phase, six-pole motor design, which produces higher torque value compared to most single-phase, four-pole design fans. Combined with Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) for a smooth, reliable and quiet operation.

SummaryPerformance- A++Noise- B+I've got 4 of these to replace my cheap 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust, dropped the temps of all my component's by 7-12 degrees @ similar rpm to what I was using before (1200-1500 under load). The modular cable design makes cable management a good bit easier but these fans are such high current that u can only plug in 2 per system fan header (4 for cpu fans or for all headers on premium mobos). Like most fluid dynamic bearing fans u'll notice the most noise improvement @ 1000rpm and below where they are pretty much silent. In the mid 1000's they are still relatively quiet for that speed but much more noticeable and above that they're relatively loud but nothing crazy, no fan is going to be quiet at 2500rpm so don't expect a miracle. ... MoreSummaryPerformance- A++Noise- B+I've got 4 of these to replace my cheap 3 intake fans and 1 exhaust, dropped the temps of all my component's by 7-12 degrees @ similar rpm to what I was using before (1200-1500 under load). These are almost definitely still making more noise at the same rpm vs something like a noctua but from the data I've seen, they're moving more air too. You can really make these fans spin much slower than you'd think with great performance. The 1 year warranty is disappointing but I've asked Silverstone themselves and the mean time to failure is 150k hours (17 years straight). The warranty and the fact that u get almost no accessories such as anti vibration pads which you may need to buy separately depending on where u put them is why I think such high quality fans are selling for the pretty reasonable price that they are.
