CS380 is a good idea with terrible execution. Terrible cooling (all of the fans are lackluster, one of the fans is mounted so it blows air air against a solid surface), bottom fan mount is blocked by the HDD cage. cable management is also terrible with a hole for the 8pin ATX cable at the top of the motherboard tray, but it is completely covered by the motherboard. This is the only case which has 8 drive bays at this price point, but avoid it if you can.

Great mid-size NAS case with the front 8 bays. Came with plenty of screws, although I'm not sure it would have enough for 8 hard drives (I installed 4 and had some left over screws). The motherboard posts were a bit tough to get in, but Silverstone do include a little thumb tool to make life easier, which also has a philips head so that you can use a screwdriver as well which is great forward thinking!

Given that there aren't really any other choices for tower cases with 8 drive bays, I can't really be too harsh on the CS380. It does the job but the build quality isn't what I'd expect for something costing this much money and the one I was sent had a faulty backplane so had to be returned. Scan were excellent as always in their handling of the return and issued a full refund very quickly. I may still buy it again as there's not a lot else that offers this number of drive bays.
The fans on this case don’t circulate enough fresh air over the drives, so they run hot. Since two tf the three fans are inside the case there is an element of re-circulating hot air. There are also too many random openings in the case.
