We have two inside cats both female, they are spayed but you can't tell the outside tom cats that. Our girls like to go out on the screened in deck. So right now we have a few tom cats hanging around and they're being kind enough to pee and mark the backdoor, around the deck, and basement windows. I walked around the house and sprayed this everywhere that I could see the urine marks and I'm happy to say that the house no longer stinks like it did. I'll keep an extra bottle on hand just for around the outside of the house. I also used this on a few spots where the cats had vomited and left a stain. Both stains came out without any problems. There are 3 settings on the dial. Off, stream or mist. Instructions for urine, feces, blood, vomit, and other pet or people messes are listed on the bottle. It states that it also helps to prevent repeat marking. And it says not to use it on wool or leather.

Love this product. We have 6 cats. It can take a few days before we're able to figure out who's having issues. This stuff is super effective. Was delighted to see that it came in a gallon size so I could keep it in the laundry to use there and refill spray bottles as needed. The flip-top would have provided the perfect control for both pouring into the rinse dispenser and refilling, except that the cap flips the wrong way. The packaging engineer totally blew it on this. The thread needs to start directly opposite of where it currently does.One would hope they'll figure it out and fix it. Until then, we'll just need to pour carefully with the cap off. You have to allow the area to dry naturally for 24 to 48 hours and then you vacuum over it. I feel like this cleaner didn’t work at all for me. I repeated the process THREE times and I still see a circle spot where the urine was. There is no smell coming from that spot so I guess that is a good thing. Maybe the carpet is just so clean in that one spot and will go away if I have the entire carpet cleaned.

I have a cat who pees on pillows when he is stressed. Otherwise he’s great. So I cope by encasing my mattresses and pillows in waterproof protectors and keep a gallon of this stuff on hand. It works well for pillows and throws if you do this: soak well in the Simple Solution; launder on COLD with soap and borax; line dry in the sunshine if you can or inside. For really tough situations you might have to clean multiple times. It’s important not to put the item in a dryer because that bakes in the smell. For upholstery I spray and blot, let dry and repeat until the smell is gone. Nothing is perfect but this works better than anything else I have tried.

I love this product! It works really well at removing dog urine stains. No stain and no smell! I know there’s. O smell only because I can’t smell it but also when there’s irk e smell dogs go and sniff those spots but after I used Simple Solution dogs no longer go back to sniff or pee in those spots on the carpet. The product has some light fragrance but it’s not bothersome. What I like to do (as I use this product VERY generously, soaking the area) after I let it sit for 15-30 min I use paper towel to dry it out but then I bring a bucket with clean water and a clean cloth and remove some of the product from the carpet and again use paper towels to dry it out. I love this product and am glad I purchased it!
