Simple to use, easy to refill. This is the best automatic soap dispenser we've owned. The unit is easy to refill with a large enclosure on the top, a small LED light shows you when it's working; turning red when the batteries are running low.The amount of soap is easy to adjust based on thickness of soap and power left in the batteries.You can even use the unit in the dark or under low light condition.The only challenge so far is using the unit in cold temperature as the soap gets thicker, forcing the pump to underdeliver. Just be mindful if you want to use it in a colder basement or garage. My trick is to keep it close to the heating source.We have 1 near every sink in the house now, that's how good these are.

I have bought a dozen of these for our home and for our children. They look sleek, compact, and definitely a good idea for minimizing germs. However, they are not worth the price at all. More than half of them stopped working and appear to be clogged. It also appears from the reviews that using only Simple Human soap may be a must. Although we invested in their soap, some of us have sensitivity to their soap and should not have to use their soap on top of the costly device itself. I think there may be some legal issues with the company designing products that may require you to only use their soaps. Nonetheless, I have written the company and tried to contact them several times to no avail. I'm so loving this dispenser. It's easy to place the batteries, pass your hand under & voilà the perfect amount & it actually dispenses IN YOUR HAND instead of all over it & the sink too. Lightweight & looks great on your sink. No Dripping!!! It keeps the sink clean, not to many others do. The refills are easy to purchase,they give you a nice coupon to use on your next purchase. Also it tells you what other brand of soap you can use in the dispenser. I'm really happy with mine & just ordered 2 more for the other bathrooms.
I’ve loved these same dispensers for years, including the larger size. With arthritic hands, I appreciate the ease. But if I don’t use one for some months, it either takes much effect to get it going again, or I give up after trying 16 batteries, and pitch it. What a waste. This time, when I arrived in winter house, neither dispenser worked despite my thoroughly cleaning them out when I left last spring. I finally Googled for help, and the alcohol method got one of them working but not the other, which went into trash. They can be temperamental, and years ago, I’d keep the boxes and return them to Simple Human for a replacement.I tried emailing Simple Human months ago, asking if they were being made in China with substandard materials. No reply.
I saw this product on a recent "America's Test Kitchen" episode. It was part of several similar items put through exhaustive testing by staff members. The outright winner was this unit, & I believe another simplehuman entry was close behind. Thus far, my pump is an outstanding performer that does what is supposed to without any nonsense or glitches. One unforeseen issue concerns your wonderful liquid soap refills. Some of the ingredients are toxic to me due to sensitive natures. Fortunately, you provide a comparable products list, & Dr. Bronner's is my soap of choice that works for me & all your pumps. Thank you for providing excellent household products. I will have upcoming orders as I overhaul my collection of dated & non-functioning items.
I already own 2 of these and just bought 2 more from Sam's Club because it was so much cheaper from them. I've had my original ones for more than 3 years and still going strong. You have to change the battery about 2x/year (depending on how often you use it). We have one in our kitchen and one in our boys' bathroom. For the kitchen it is a lifesaver to have it autodispense. For our kids' bathroom it's great b'c it only doles out a certain amount (you can vary the amount). Every once in awhile you will want to wash where the soap comes out so it doesn't clog.
No one should be touching a pump soap with 'dirty hands.' That's why we love this touchless soap dispenser. We loved the original version and used it for MANY years at our kitchen sink. It was taller and held more soap, but that created a problem. Whenever we ran the disposal, the sink vibrated causing the unit to fall over and into the sink. This more compact version stays put. We ordered a second one for our bathroom. Everyone should have this in their home!

I love this thing. Other than it being smaller than I expected (8 oz, dont know why I thought it would be bigger) it actually works on my kitchen counter and doesnt take up a lot of space. I may have to get a second one for my bathroom. Takes 4 batteries but you can turn it on/off so It should last for quite a while. Im using the soap that came with it but will use my usual liquid soap later. I will come back and redo the review if I have any problems but so far so good. I used gift cards so it didnt cost me anything . I feel the price is a little high for the size but again if I dont have any issues than perhaps it is well worth the higher price.
