Sir Kensington's Mayonnaise Classic 16 fl oz

Hands down the BEST mayonnaise on the market. It takes some getting used to because the taste is different than all of the other mayonnaises out there but once you get used to it, you'll never go back. I should warn that it's a tad bit tangy and you definitely taste the sunflower oil but you'll feel so much better after eating this kind of mayonnaise. The ingredients are clean and natural and it's light on the stomach. I absolutely love and highly recommend this to everyone.

The product tastes great. Let me start with that. However, it is very greasy and does not hold up well at all. I really need mayo (vegan or not) to hold up in a salad or on bread. It was a bit on the pricey side, and I'm really disappointed by the results, and I have most of the jar left. I would not recommend it unless you are okay with alot of grease. Disappointing.

The rancid/stale taste overpowered the otherwise high quality ingredients of my sandwich. At first I thought there was something wrong with my taste buds, so a few hours later I did a taste test with a small amount on a spoon. Yuck!I had high hopes for this product, but needless to say I won't be back for more. Fortunately, Walmart has a simple refund policy.

My Favorite Mayo!

Sir Kensington's Organic Mayonnaise is my absolute favorite mayo! I was raised on Best Foods mayo & have never liked Miracle Whip. When looking for a healthier alternative, I found this one, but balked at the price. I finally went ahead and bought it, and have been buying it ever since! I'm not a huge sandwich eater, so don't use it often, but love the taste when I do! I'm seeing a lot of reviews stating that it contains avocado, but not seeing that on the list of ingredients for this particular product...? Years ago, I made my own mayo. It's not difficult to make, and the ingredients aren't that expensive, so I'm not really sure why it's so expensive, but since I don't use it often, it lasts a long time. I just received my latest order and had noticed that the label was new, which isn't uncommon for companies to update their labels. When I opened it, it smelled almost like very strong olive oil, and has a very bitter and strong aftertaste. I happened to have one of my previous label jars and the difference is now the recipe is sugar free. According to the Sir Kensington website, they have changed all of their recipes to sugar-free and this is indicated by the new dark blue label. Yet it doesn't say it anywhere on the label so consumers can know if they want to choose a sugar-free mayonnaise or not. Separates and makes a mess.

I’ve purchased this mayonnaise twice and both times the oil has separated. First time I thought it was a bad bottle, but it happened to the second one as well. After opening the bottle you have to shake it really hard so it can mix properly if not, it tastes waxy. Not convenient, especially when you’re in a rush trying to make food. Im going to have to find another option.

Worst "Improved recipe" Ever - Threw it away

I bought three jars of Sir Kensington's "improved recipe" mayonnaise from Vitacost, not knowing SK had changed the recipe. The tiny flag on the jar informing customers of the change was barely legible. Were they trying to hide the fact they had changed it? All three jars I bought (on the same order) tasted terribly rancid, even though the expiration date said they should be good for a long time. Since Vitacost won't accept returns, I threw them out. They said they only removed mustard and black pepper, and I can add back the mustard and pepper myself. Really? Their mayonnaise is very expensive compared to others, and they want me to doctor it up myself? Besides, just removing two ingredients didn't change their wonderful mayonnaise into a rancid-tasing one with a different texture.Don't be fooled by Sir Kensington's hype about their "improved flavor." This mayonnaise is awful. I don't know what happened to the great company Sir Kensington's used to be, but I'm truly sorry to see the changes. I hope someone changes both the recipe and the company back to what it used to be.

Yummy and healthy! Repeated purchases!

Pantry staple! Into my 3rd jar so far. Comparing this to the primal kitchen one, its a bigger jar for around the same price. Flavour and texture is on point, im not eating it by the spoonfuls, just combining with other ingredients so its a good healthy fats option to have guilt free. This is slightly more tangy less creamy compared to the realfoods or hellman type grocery store mayo, but hey i dont expect them to be the same. Iherb has the best price on this product after comparing several stores. Please click like if this helped!

definitely try a bottle to check it out

this is a product which is heading in the right direction. first, everyone in the family does not have to stick their licked utensils into a bottle. second, the container ejects a small amount which can be placed directly on the spot where the mayo is desired. the only issue is learning how much pressure to use to squeeze the bottle to eject the right amount. you can add a little water to the bottle and shake up well to change the viscosity, but use only very little (one or 2 teaspoon fulls as mayonnaise easily becomes soft with very little water added.
