My first venture into Sire guitars was my purchase of the T7. I was amazed by the T7 in every facet, looks, build quality, fit and finish. The T 7 floored me. I was hooked. About 2 months after the T7 I had no problem pulling the trigger on the L7. I was not surprised to find another quality instrument. I can find nothing bad to say about either Sire. I am completely happy with both. I've been playing a few decades. I've owned and continue to own many quality American made guitars. I buy guitars to these days to play. If I wasn't already in possession of a $ Korean semi hollow that plays like a dream I would buy the Sire semi-hollow because these guitars give a player so much bang for the buck you can't go wrong.

The guitar was imported in Austria and I had to pay extra for the Import fees. The L7 is a steal at this price, the rolled edges, the perfect binding and the color are spotless. The first thing I did was to get the old strings off and oil the fretboard. Now it looks like a $2000 guitar and feels like one.The sound is probably not for everyone. The PU sound warm and mellow but you could brighten them if you EQ it perfectly. This is my second Sire and I can honestly say I have never played better balanced guitars my whole life. I sold my Gibson Tribute and bought the L7. It feels like an upgrade for me.
