I purchased one for each of my 2 kids. It really makes packing a varied lunchbox simpler, but these are not durable at all for the price you pay. After one drop at school, there is a crack in the base and we have only had them for about 2 weeks. Other cheaper lunchboxes, survive the daily use without any signs of wear and tear. Do not waste your money as this is definitely not a case of getting what you pay for.

My kids had soft-sided lunch bags before and the corners and seams would get disgusting with crumbs, yogurt and other bits. They were so annoying to clean and developed a nasty smell after a while. Never again!These containers are perfect and fit a full day of food - main course, fruit and veggies in the snack compartments with individual lids, yogurt, granola bar and another snack in the round container. Since there's no insulation, I add mini ice packs underneath the square tray and it keeps everything cool. This bento box is about the same size as a typical lunch bag, maybe a bit longer but slimmer.The best part is how easy it is to clean. I bought this to take on vacation to make lunches for when we're out sightseeing. Pita sandwiches, loaf bread sandwiches, all fit in the larger 2 layer compartment. The small compartment fits snacks, or in the small jar. Keeps everything secure even if upside down in the bag. Just great.
This container is not good for kids or imperfect adults. It fell off the fridge shelf, popped open, and spilled the contents onto the floor. The lock is apparently for aesthetic purposes only. It's worthless at keeping the container closed if it falls or gets jostled. It's great for dry foods if it never falls. Unfortunately, mistakes do happen. The durability does not match the cost.
Perfect for my kindergartner’s lunchbox. Great compact size but can put a ton of food in it. Easy enough for a little one to open and close (even the screw-top container) but sturdy enough to stay closed in the lunchbox. It’s a little pricey compared to other plastic food storage but very reasonable compared to other kid bento boxes. I like how you can move the trays in or out depending on what I’m packing. I would 100% buy again, and will when my other little ones go to school.
Just as good as those Bento boxes at a fraction of the price. Bento boxes cracked within a week (boys). I am still able to make healthier school lunches than those "lunchables" with these. These are several months in to the school year and used minimum 3 times a week. Just replacing incase of damage from wear and tear. Light weight, sturdy, parts fit well, hasn't warped in the dishwasher, hinges still work great. And I never have anything coming home because the kids eat their lunch! Teachers even comment on the healthy lunches the kid's have every day.
Clip to close the container isn’t very sturdy. I fear it won’t last long. For the price I expected a better quality product. A lid to one of the containers cracked opening it when I unpacked it. I have only used it once. Do not put anything with liquid just in the box, it will leak. I will still use it but won’t purchase again. Maybe I just didn’t get a good one.
Only negative comment on this is that it would be easier if the top lid was detachable for cleaning purposes (I hand wash usually because we use it daily but sometimes I put into the dishwasher. It is easy to clean in the dishwasher but we don’t run it everyday so I don’t always do that)Everything else besides that, this is the best lunchbox we own- and I bought probably 3 other types of bento-style lunchboxes. This is our favorite by far it’s so functional and holds plenty of food for our preschooler to eat at lunch and continue to eat on the long drive home from school. Buy it!
