SK II Genoptics Aura Essence 30ml

First time buying from Sara, abit nervous about product quality. Checked the bottle seal and liquid, all ok. \n\nI am sk2 regulars, just a note to others that is best to open the bottle, check the liquid/cream and underneath the cap. Bad product tend to have yellowish liquid/cream and greyish/black underneath cap.\n\nOnce open best to use within 6 months. Usually I only order when mine is finishing so not much issue.

The moisturizing effect of the small light bulb is very good. First of all, the refracted light of the bottle is beautiful, and the matte feeling is relatively strong. I only had two samples of this essence which lasted me for 4 days (twice a day). I’ve been using face essences quite some time and in most cases they improve your skin just a smidge but you do notice worsening on your skin once you stop using them. I have never tried an essence that would make such a huge difference AND after one use. I am blown away by this essence. I need to add that the essence is the only thing I just swapped in my skincare routine so it truly is the essence making the difference. My skin is brighter, smoother and more even. Almost like after an expensive facial. I am surprised by the texture of the essence as well which is milky, way thicker than other watery essences. But the price is giving me a headache lol.

2nd bottle purchase. When I first started using this (night routine), it actually caused a bit of stinging discomfort and redness especially over the cheeks area. It concerned me a little bit, so I stopped for a while and tried lesser quantity and added extra lotion to reduce the redness. It didn't cause any breakouts or oiliness, which was a relief. After a few days of using (smaller quantity), the rashes and redness disappeared. I started noticing small changes after the 2nd bottle - skin generally looks a little more even toned, does not look as dull. I suppose you would need to use it a little longer to see more effect. Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Depends. Until I find a better essence brand, this will do.
