One customer mentioned that the speakers performed well and provided good mid-level sound. They also noted that while the speakers were too deep for the front doors, they worked great in the back doors with custom MDF spacer/adapters. Additionally, this customer compared the Skar Audio speakers favorably to Kicker speakers, finding them to be much better in sound quality and performance. Despite some challenges with purchasing through Amazon and a return issue, they concluded that the speakers were fantastic for the price, especially when driven with lower wattage. However, another customer reported encountering a buzzing/vibrating sound from the speakers after using them twice on 100 watts. They also found the quality to be lacking, mentioning that the speaker was blown on arrival with silica gel scattered inside the speaker and box. Overall, the speakers were praised for delivering impressive sound and handling power well.
