Bought these work shoes for comfort but a after a few months the began to loose its sole, to my surpriseI'm a truck driver, I'm never really on my feet .I wouldn't recommend this shoe as practical work shoe as they rapidly began to come apart

Don't get me wrong when I say this--the comp toe shoes are very cool, stylish and durable--but it seemed they were a little too wide and had about 1.5 inches of extra room on the inside of them. I gave them to my boyfriend, though. He really loves them. I recently bought a different pair and style from here along with the same size I had initially bought from here and they actually fit on my feet just right, so the Sketchers brand has yet to disappoint me. I still love their awesome shoes as they have always conformed to the level of comfort my feet definitely need lol.

I got these because of the comments on the fit and the great price for what I needed in a work shoe-both waterproof AND slip resistant (which is oddly hard to find!) They aren't listed as slip resistant but the bottom of the shoe says "EH SLIP RESISTANT".Women's shoes never meet my needs so I buy men's, but even though I bought the wide the toe box is uncomfortable. Big toe and little toe are both pushing on the sides, and the rest of the shoe fit almost too roomy. There is a lot of height room inside, which is a bit strange. The heel and arch areas fit well. Very disappointed that the toe is so narrow in a wide shoe, and there aren't any sizes that would work left.

I've been wearing them for a week, they broke in nicely. Excellent construction and materials quality, the composite toe is nice insurance to have. They're definitely waterproof but breathe pretty well, my feet don't get sweaty. My only complaint is the inner sole isn't as cushy as I've found other Skechers shoes to have. These are more of a standard insole, not uncomfortable but not Skechers quality.
I tried various brands and was going through roughly 3 to 4 pair of shoes a year. However my first pair of these last of me roughly a year and a half, and I just bought the same pair again couple weeks ago. I use them for work, and the bottom treads wore down to where I felt I should get a new pair to be safe, but they probably still had some life in them. Also for someone that works in the cold the composite to does not freeze your feet like a steel toe does.
These shoes are the only kind I have found to wear for extended time as I have feet pain-issues when I walk. I ordered 2 pair to cover my needs....casual & work. I'm going to order an additional 2 pairs soon as back-ups for future needs. These shoes are so comfortable that I cannot believe I found them to give me great peace when waling. I am an elderly senior who really appreciates these more than one can imagine. Great product, quality and pricing is reasonable. I also like the buy one, get one 50% off deal Sketchers does.
These are some of the most comfortable and functional work shoes I have ever had. And I’ve had all the big brands from Ariatt to Wolverine, Redwing, Keen, all of them. I’m a larger man, and I work 12-14 hrs a day in a high impact environment climbing up and down a ladder about 80 times a day and spending much of my time walking, standing and pivoting on pavement. Needless to say most every boot I have ever purchased is worn out within about 4-6 months. And when I say worn out I’m usually referring to wholes all the way through the out sole, or the seam at the foot bed coming apart. I have these since August, about 6 months and there is still some use left to them. Plus did I mention they were really comfortable. I wish I had taken a pic when they were new, so this ... I have these since August, about 6 months and there is still some use left to them. Plus did I mention they were really comfortable. I wish I had taken a pic when they were new, so this photo shows them now. it really doesn’t do them justice as I didn’t expect them to last 3 months at the price point of $80 but I’m impressed as if you couldn’t tell by this long review. I just wish they made them in a 6” or 8” boot. Because I work no matter what the weather is, and when it rains I often find my self standing in 3-4” puddles working. They do a great job of keeping my feet dry until the water comes over the top.
Like everything from ordering, shipping and style, but toe box is uncomfortable. Outside of my big toes still rub causing intense pain after a while. Thicker socks help but they are going to cause blister/bunion if I'm not careful. This is a second try after I returned my last order. I got a wider set of them but still does help and there is no wider width. Bummer.
These are excellent shoes. I originally thought that I needed the wide version - but those were too wide and I had to return them. My second pair are the normal width. These are plenty wide. The insole makes them very comfortable to stand on for extended periods. They great to walk in. The heals material is comfortable and required no break in. The soles seem to be very grippy and do not slip even on smooth floors. They seem to be very well made and I believe they will last me for a long time.
two starsthe shoes seem to be made well, however the first pair hurt my feet minutes after putting them on so i returned them and I will say outside of charging a restocking fee your return police was fine. so I get my replacement shoes and I'm swimming in them . I did go up a half size but wow they are real big on me. my suggestion. watch the sizing.
