I bought a pair of the all black ones which were comfortable but very big even with socks on; a bit too long and very wide. They were a 7 which is my size in Skechers, although I'm usually a 7.5. So then I thought I'd get the blue and white ones in a 6.5. I knew I wouldn't have to break them in so slipped them on and wore them to work. They are way smaller than the half size up and my toes hit the end of the shoe, even barefoot. But as I had worn them, even if only to and from the car and around the office, I can't return them. I recommend you buy them in person, not online.

These shoes are machine washable, so I always have two pairs, so I can throw them in the wash once a week, and let them air dry. These are very comfortable. I have a history of foot aches and discomfort after being on my feet for 44 years as a flight attendant. These are comfortable. They don't slip on my heel. I have a high arch but haven't been wearing my arch soles because the soles on these shoes aren't removable, but the memory foam is comfortable. I haven't tried walking around as a tourist in major cities yet. But for a casual, normal day of walking, they have met my expectations.
