Skin 1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Enrich Cream Mini 15ml

Since receiving the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Probio-Cica Enrich Cream, I've used it every evening after I wash my face. The cream is a thick and luxurious moisturizer that leaves my skin slightly sticky as it's absorbed, but it's not heavy. It takes about 15 minutes for my skin to soak it all up, so I have to make sure I give myself time before hitting the pillow. There is no fragrance and it's never irritated my skin or made me break out. The packaging is lovely, the jar opens well and comes with a spatula so you don't have to put your fingers in the jar. It's been about 3 weeks, and while it's done a great job at moisturizing, I have not noticed a different in any of the fine lines around my eyes or the deeper lines on my forehead. I love trying new skincare products so was excited to try this cream. I have never heard of the brand before but it’s made in Korea and Korean skincare products are some of the best of the market! I like that the cream doesn’t have any heavy fragrance as I do not like fragrances in my facial skin products. It really did not have much of a scent at all to me. The cream comes with a little spatula to scoop out to product without using your hands and contaminating the whole jar. The cream was thicker and applied somewhat heavy. This cream was, in my opinion, a bit too heavy for daytime use, and I wasn't crazy about the way it left my skin feeling afterwards. It left behind a rather greasy feeling or like I had an extra layer that was left on top of my skin for the rest of the day that just never quite went away. I had hoped that this would have a pleasant fragrance, but it doesn't. There isn't much of a scent at all, but if I had to describe it, I would say that it kind of smells like glue. The container that it comes in is plastic, but it does come with a little spoon/spatula so you don't have to use your fingers for scooping the cream out. This cream is made with centella from Madagascar and that is supposed to be good for the skin barrier and give your skin moisture. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this (I should’ve known better when it comes to KBeauty!) but this really blew me away! There isn’t really a scent besides what I assume comes from the calming ingredients which is great for sensitive skin! My skin has been going through it with starting retinol and the first few nights I used this I noticed that things seemed to be calming and my skin barrier felt like it was repairing. The texture really reminds me of snail mucin,  which honestly I love, and it makes for a WONDERFUL night cream. Going into winter I may find myself reaching for something heavier but this will absolutely see me through fall. I traveled north 6 hours to visit family and dealt with much colder weather and this kept my skin nice and juicy! It's a little bit sticky but applies flawlessly. I like that it leaves my skin feeling moisturized. It's not sticky on the skin.
