The Skin Physics Oxygen-C Hydrating Vitamin C toner comes in a 100mL spray can. The spray can lets you spray the toner right onto your face rather than like traditional toners where you soak a cotton pad with toner and swipe it onto your face. I think its great as there is less product wasted and the spray nozzle is of good quality as it veils my face in a fine mist rather than making it seem like I got rained on. I love the small can as its small enough that I can toss it into my handbag when going out and about. The toner has aloe vera, vitamin C and antibecterial Manuka honey to soothe, nourish and protect skin. It has a crisp, fresh, sweet, citrusy scent and is pleasant. I hold the can 30cm away from my face and spray 1-2 pumps of toner onto my face . I mist my face with it after cleansing to tone and hydrate my skin. I also mist it in between skincare layers to hydrate and help absorb the freshly applied skincare better.I have used it for a little over 2 weeks and it hasn't made any visible changes to my skin but I didn't expect for it to either. Its a toner/mist that refreshes and hydrates my skin and it just happens to have a better mix of ingredients than those mists with "thermal spring water," which is just essentially just...water. It just makes me feel like I'm doing more for my skin than just hydrating it with water and to me thats better.

I received this at the recent BH glosscars event (thanks BH and Skin Physics!). It has a simple ingredient list of water, aloe vera juice, Betaine, 1,3-Propanediol, Glycerin, Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract, Bisabolol, Magnesium Aspartate, Zinc Gluconate, Copper Gluconate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citric Acid, Parfum. The vitamin C content comes from the kakadu plum extract. The aloe vera juice and betaine (an amino acid) binds water to the skin. The glycerin in the formula is also a humectant. The sprayer emits a fine mist and you can spray this on your face during the toning step (with your eyes closed) or use to freshen up during the day. I can't say if the Vit C from the kakadu plum has any effect because I was already using strong Vit C products. But overall it is a good mist toner. The formula reminds me of Essano's Rosehip Certified Organic Mist Toner which also has aloe vera juice, kakadu plum extract (actually higher on the ingredients list so presumably at a higher concentration), betaine, glycerin, plus the addition of rosehip seed oil.

I received the Skin Physics Oxygen-C Hydrating Vitamin C Toner at the recent Beautyheaven Glosscar Awards event.I have two favourite fine mist toners which I use every day so I was looking forward to using another cooling, calming mist on my face, especially as this one contains Vitamin C.The toner comes in a 100ml size white spray bottle which is a really convenient size for travelling. This is a product designed to shield against premature ageing from free radical damage caused by UV exposure which is great because my face can’t help but be exposed to the sun when I’m out and about. When I first used the spray I expected a fine mist to float all over my face but I was met with a forcible squirt which hit my skin in bursts. I’m convinced I have a dud bottle!Nevertheless, I persevere by patting the toner onto my skin before it drips off and then I wait for it to dry. It is definitely firming but at the same time my skin feels well hydrated and soft. This toner packs a punch and I will definitely buy another bottle when I finish this one, and hopefully the nozzle on the next bottle will deliver a lovely fine mist spray.

Thank you BH for the opportunity to trial Skin Physics Oxygen C Hydrating Vit C toner! I have to say I really enjoyed this toner spritz which was refreshing, cooling and hydrating to use.I find that it is really handy to use when the humidity is low and the air is dry, it definitely works as a good skin prep before applying my serums and moisturiser because having damp skin makes it just that more permeable for the skin to absorb products. The toner contains a blend of nourishing and hydrating ingredients which all skin types can appreciate. The Kakadu Plum fruit extract I assume works like the benefits of vitamin C? Although I've only come across articles where if ingested/taken orally will give you antioxidant benefits as opposed to topical route, similarly discussion as collagen. Another 'Vitamin C' ingredient could be the Citric Acid? But that works more as a pH adjuster or AHA (Alpha hydroxy acids) but won't be effective as it is further down on the ingredient list (high levels of citric acid can be irritating for the skin).Overall, the Skin Physics toner works as a nice mist complimenting my skincare routine. I would not repurchase this as I would like a more potent antioxidant ingredients and if I really wanted to get the benefits of Vitamin C then I would go for a serum and not invest in this one.
I was excited to try the Skin Physics OXYGEN-C Hydrating Vitamin C Toner as I'm a huge fan of facial mists, particularly in the hot summer months. The product comes minimally packaged in a spray bottle with a nozzle applicator and a cap lid. I like the applicator - it produces a fine mist and allows me to direct the product over the areas of my face (and sometimes decolletage) that I want to concentrate the mist on. This mist would be perfect for taking on long car rides or when flying and travelling. After applying, my skin is left feeling hydrated, refreshed, and energized. The brightening and hydrating ingredients in the product give me peace of mind, and I think it is great that the toner also shields against premature ageing from free radical damage caused by UV exposure. Overall, I have really enjoyed using this vitamin C toner and I would repurchase again.
This is truly outstanding for me for so many reasons. Firstly, the spray misting nozzle is amazing in that it allows me complete control of how much and how fast the mist comes out. I have never experienced such an excellent spray mist nozzle for a face mist before. I have tried some great one's but this one is excellent and also a step ahead in my view because of how much control of the product it gives. The mist itself is very fine and very gentle as it lands on the skin. I love the soft scent and I love that it's a hydrating formula as well as the fact that it feels refreshing and toning. It gives my skin a feeling that it's a had a refreshing 'lift'. Whaaaat? I will buy this again when mine runs out. It's a wonderful misting toner/spray and I'm impressed! My skin feels refreshed, hydrated and nurtured when I use this. Vitamin C really seems to be an ingredient that agrees with my skin. I can see this becoming a beauty staple for me.It's a lovely little 100ml size which can be put easily into a bag without being too heavy and won't take up too much room.Love the white plastic bottle with it's packaging design too. It's reflective of the refreshing product that it is.
This spray toner is housed in a sleek, sturdy, plastic bottle. On first look, it looks like an aerosol can (similar to the Avene or LRP toners) but once you take the cap off it is in fact a regular spray nozzle. It dispenses a generous, fine mist so I can apply to my whole face easily. My main problem with this product is the packaging. I usually shake my bottles before dispensing to ensure that if there was any natural separation of ingredients they would be mixed back together. I can't do that with this product as the product leaks out of the bottle, even with the cap secured.I also find that it leaks if it is not sitting upright (eg. can't have it laying down in a drawer). Perhaps my bottle had a defective packaging as I don't see anyone else writing that they ... MoreThis spray toner is housed in a sleek, sturdy, plastic bottle. Perhaps my bottle had a defective packaging as I don't see anyone else writing that they had problems with theirs.Aside from my packaging issue, I enjoyed using this product.Firstly, the citrus scent is so fresh and uplifting! This toner gives a boost of hydration to my skin and leaves my skin looking plumper. But I can't say I've seen any brightening effects after approximately 3 weeks of use. It leaves a slightly sticky layer on my skin. I have experimented with several different skincare products and I found that my serums and moisturisers required a bit more rubbing to spread onto the skin or absorbed slower when applied over this product. Not a deal breaker by any means but it meant that I was using it mostly at night so I didn't have to wait for my skincare to absorb so I could do my makeup before heading out to work. When I did use it under my makeup, I didn't see any noticeable difference with how quickly my makeup broke down on my combo (oily T zone, dry cheeks) skin.I have very sensitive eyes and if I got any of this in/too close to them I would feel a warm, stinging sensation. So beware and be careful if you also have sensitive eyes (or skin). It's a nice product, especially for the cooler and drier months, I think. I will decant my toner into an empty spray bottle so that I don't have to deal with the leaky cap issue. I would recommend this to beauties who want extra hydration. But I am still tossing up whether I would repurchase as 1) I didn't see any brightening 2) it stings my eyes and 3) I don't want to risk getting another leaky bottle.
I was happy to receive this toner at the Glosscars event, as my skin does need a hydrating boost throughout the day. This product comes in a 100ml spray can and you don’t need touse a lot each application. The toner sprays as a fine mist to add instant hydration and refreshing feel to the skin. It contains a good mix of hydrating and antioxidant ingredients such as Vitamin C, Aloe and Kakadu Plum extract. This toner isn’t sticky, greasy or heavy on the skin and absorbs quite well to leave my skin feeling soft. I have found that it also creates a great base for my serum and moisturiser. It does have a slightly strong fragrance and you therefore have to be careful to close your eye before you spray it, as it can cause irritation if you get it in your eyes. This is a great hydrating product with antioxidants to give you a quick hydrating treatment during the day. I think one can will last me quite a while given that it sprays such a fine mist. I am unsure I will repurchase this product at this stage only because the fragrance is a little too strong for me.
I am really not a fan of atomisers, spray mists, all-day hydration refreshers and all the other names they like to give these products. I am really a fence sitter here, surely I don't need another product to add to the regime and what does it really do again????So being the absolute sceptic I was the perfect guinea pig to give a reality check on the whole industry producing these "do I really need this facial mist product as well?"On trialling the Skin Physics OXYGEN-C Hydrating Vitamin C Toner I was determined to be fair and give it an unbiased trial. The products claim is that it "is a facial toner that instantly hydrates skin", not a fan of toners at all due to my very dry skin and finding they always further dehydrate my skin, I was so ready to see why this product was different. On reading up on this product I was definitely taken in by the claim that it "shields against premature ageing from free radical damage caused by UV exposure" As I work outdoors this UV protection is attractive in any product and form, so this encouraged me to be more proactive and use the product more readily.I chose to use this product after cleansing and before moisturising. Reason being I really don't have time to spritz throughout the day and wait for absorption to occur, seriously I have better things to do, so slipping it in during my morning routine worked perfectly. I really liked the mild natural smell of the product and the ease with which it dispersed. My moisturiser was unaffected by this base layer and I have to admit it was a nice addition to my regime after I was so sceptical.
Hi everyone!I am excited to tell you about this great new product from skin physics. Skin Physics (made in NZ) OXYGEN-C Hydrating Vitamin C Toner is a facial toner that lightly moisturises skin and really refreshes your face with a spray that feels great on your face.
