This product is used to clean the area around wounds prior to the application of the dressing. It allows your dressing to adhere to the skin and your dressing last longer! Awesome product!!!

I have probably tried every skin protective/barrier product out there looking for something to prevent reaction to the adhesive of my CGM sensor and insulin pump patch and improve the adhesion so that they last for their full therapeutic time. This does the best available however I still have skin reactions and the products, especially the CGM sensor, come off long before its 2 week life expectancy. I gave it 4 stars since it is better than the competition and maybe the makers of the CGM sensor and insulin pump patch need to improve their adhesive. (Why should I even need a protective wipe?)

I have been using these skin preps ever since I got my insulin pump, as an extra protection barrier for my sensitive skin, and I will not use anything else!!! I have tried other brands and did not like them at all. Also, the price I paid, is the best value I have ever gotten!!! I will keep buying these from Vitality Medical, as long as I have my pump!!!

Like this product, just be careful not get it on any open wounds. Think it has another product that is no sting.I've used this a long time, if it's not broke......
Items arrived in a bubble wrapped envelope. Once the envelope was opened, it was apparent that 1 or both bottles had leaked and the entire inside of the envelope was wet. Left message with the seller but no response. Assume the product will be good for skin prep but will not order from this seller ever again.
Although it does contain alcohol, and stings for a few seconds, a cool hair dryer keeps it to a minimum. This is the best product to get a wound to heal quickly, and it dries much quicker than a no-sting product.
Use it to protect from tape and it also makes the tape stick better. I also use it with catheter leg straps where after this is dry I apply a water based adhesive product such as It Stays!. Cuts down dramatically on skin irritation there also. The straps stay put better too.As compared to others I used , these have a generous amount of the liquid in each packet. That allows you to cover a lot of area without running out or messing with trying to open a second packet while your hands are still wet from the first.
Used to only use wipes before but the spray seems to work better; it gives more solution than the wipes and provides better protection!
I have used this product for many years because I like that it gets sticky with a couple of sprays and it last a long time. It is cheap
