Once fully rinsed my skin was no longer red at all. Instead it had a beautiful radiant glow, skin tone looked more even and pores appeared tighter. I was genuinely surprised with the results as I thought it would be a generic pharmacy mask that doesn't deliver much other than clean skin.After the purifying cleanse of the mask my moisturisers were absorbed quicker and the next morning my skin looked plump and healthy. Co-workers even commented that I was looking fresh!Overall I am ecstatic with this product and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or purchase it myself.

I purchased this from chemist warehouse at 40% off.This mask is quite expensive given that it only gives one application, so I recommend waiting until it is on a special before purchasing.I cleansed my face first with my special cleansing gel and dried my face as per the instructions.I then rubbed the sachet as instructed to activate the bubbles before ripping open the sachet to apply onto the face.It didn't fit my face very well, the chin section was a bit too large and it didn't fully cover my cheeks.The mask began to bubble upon exposure to the air. Once my skin dried, I touched my face surprised at just how soft and smooth it felt. Actually, I couldn't stop touching my skin.Not only did my skin feel great, but looked fantastic. So clean and radiant. I was glowing! Even better, my skin still looked good the next dayThe Skin Republic Purifying Charcoal Sheet Mask is not only a fun, bubbly mask to use, but is definitely not a gimmick. The charcoal works well to clean pores, whilst skin is being gently exfoliated. I will be replacing this mask for sure!

My Secret Santa had used the same mask weeks earlier and I was rather inspired (but hadn’t gotten around to getting one myself) so a huge shout out to Indie_Ana for her thoughtfulness!One sachet contains one sheet mask with 20ml of serum and is loaded with all kinds of interesting ingredients and extracts, like grapefruit, apple, ginseng, witch hazel (of which I am a huge fan), rosa cetifola, lavender, tomato, tea tree, lime, lemon, orange, grape, and charcoal. It’s literally jam-packed with goodness! Yes, there’s some other stuff in there too, to give it that foaming action, but the majority of the ingredients are natural and for that, I am so very curious and thankful.The mask is a single use only, and I am sitting here wearing it as I draft sections of this reviewThoughts on application:The sachet comes with step-by-step instructions on how to go about use (including skin preparation). The biggest tip is to rub the sachet prior to opening. The sachet is also very easy to open with the tear mark at the top of the packet. This mask is incredibly easy to apply. The sheet is carefully folded within the sachet. You simply unfold and place it onto your face where it then begins to progressively foam and bubble away.This mask is fun. You can hear the bubbles bubbling away on your skin as they generate and progressively pop. The mask feels nice and cool on my skin, which isn’t irritated at all while I’m wearing it. I found my face mask didn’t completely bubble up all over, so I had to go in and tap the mask with my fingertips to ‘activate’ the oxygenation effect of the ingredients (which sets off the bubbles and foaming). This helped but I still didn’t get a full face of foam.Once you’re done (the packaging says to wear for about 15 – 20 minutes but I went for nearly 30 minutes because I got distracted), simply remove the mask and rinse. I rubbed the last of the residue on my skin for a final ‘activation’ of product before rinsing off. The product rinsed very easily and left nothing but bright, clean and clear skin behind. So happy! Seriously!The RRP for this mask sits at $7.99 however you can get this on sale at Coles and other retailers on a regular basis. I managed to pick up another one on sale a couple of weeks ago for $6.99, which isn’t too bad.
This is one strange looking mask - it’s black and when you put it on, it begins to bubble. You can actually hear the bubbles fizzing and popping while you wait the 10 minutes for it to work. Talk about scaring the kids. You could wear this one on Halloween if you really wanted to. But it’s worth the weirdness. The bubbles clean the skin deeply - really deeply. You can actually feel the dirt coming out (probably just imagination) as the mask bubbles away. This is the second Skin Republic sheet mask I’ve tried and this one was thicker and easier to apply. The openings seemed better placed or maybe it was just less gloopy than the collagen one. The scent was subtle and fruity - like apple blossom - and didn’t linger too long. Once the mask was removed I just gave my face a little wash and bingo - my skin was probably the cleanest it has ever been. No pore was left unemptied. I was also suprised that my skin was pinky matte - not at all shiny, and looked really great immediately. Though I tried this at night, I think you could do it before a big event for a long-lasting matte base for makeup. I didn’t experience any irritations (and my skin can be sensitive) and my skin was very soft, even before I moisturised (which I did afterwards).
