SkinCeuticals - Daily Moisture

I am a big skinceuticals fan and I love almost all of their products. When it comes to their products, since they have such an expansive and high quality array of products it’s more about choosing what you need based on your current skin condition. I love this product for the spring, summer, and fall because during that time of year my skin doesn’t need as much moisture and this moisturizer provides the perfect amount of moisture. During winter I usually switch to a slightly heavier moisturizer. For this moisturizer another added benefit I like is the slight sheer to it and this is coming from someone who loves a matter finish. There is something really illuminating about this moisturizer that I really enjoy. Lastly, I would say it slightly and I mean very slightly helps reduce the look of large pores but that is mainly something I notice after a month of use. I highly recommend this product and will buy it again.

This is an honest review! I received a sample of this cream in the mail last spring. I loved it so much, I bought the full-sized jar from my dermatologist. I use it nightly after my retinol and serum, and I wake up every morning with dewy soft supple skin. I have had a severe health concern the past 4 years along with going through menopause which resulted in some dramatic changes to my skin and am so grateful that I found this cream. Beautiful Glow!

This is such a beautiful looking moisturizer. My acne combination/oily skin loves it. I purchased this moisturizer 4 months ago and have been using it on and off and recently decided to use it more consistent and WOW, what a beautiful formula. I recently started using Adapalene and wanted to test if this moisturizer would work well with it and OMG!!! The glow I get after applying this is magnificent. I wake up in the morning with the most beautiful glow and let me tell you for someone with oily skin, this does not leave you looking greasy. Just gorgeous looking skin immediately after application. Skin absorbs it quickly as well. Ready to order my 2nd jar. Highly recommend for anyone with oily skin that still wants a glow without actually being oily.

Disappointing, irritating, and clogs pores.

I bought this moisturiser as I have large pores and combination skin but wanted to keep my skin hydrated especially during the winter months. It’s probably the most disappointing purchase of skincare I’ve ever made. The price is way overpriced, it leaves a white cast on my face, my pores on my nose seem more clogged from using it, and even using the smallest amount of it has caused some sort of pimples on my cheek which I never had before. There’s obviously something in the ingredients that don’t suit my skin, and I’m not quite sure what to do, other than stop using it. Waste of money - unfortunately

Dries You Out to Shine

I really wanted to love this moisturizer, the consistency is to die for but it really didn’t produce results for me that this amazing luxurious fragrance free consistency you would think would have. I have combo skin dryer in the winter oily in summer etc…. This moisturizer didn’t pair well with my serums so at first I thought maybe it’s the combo of such then I tried it alone same outcome: it made my skin extremely dry and then that uncomfortable tightness which ultimately results in itching which also happened to me. I then had a rash on my face for a solid 4-5 days and at that point I sent an inquiry to customer service. Great lightweight moisturizer

It took me a week or two to really start enjoying the moisturizer, as my skin was adjusting. My skin type is normal and the moisturizer isn’t too lightweight for me at night, as long as I use enough. In the morning, it pairs perfectly with my skin ceuticals spf on top and that’s a good amount of moisture for me throughout the day. I will say, that if you experience any dryness in your skin, this moisturizer will likely be too lightweight, as it sinks in really well into the skin after applying. My skin is also prone to sweating after applying a moisturizer if the moisturizer is too light or heavy, and I don’t experience that at all with this product. I do think that it has made a positive difference in my pores since starting the product. Great product!

Incredible!

I bought this in hopes of finding a good moisturizer that would keep my skin hydrated without leaving me looking and feeling greasy.. And let me tell you! This did not disappoint! This stuff is incredible! It’s lightweight, hydrating and leaves an amazing glow to the skin. I’ve always used department store moisturizers before, Estee Lauder, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, LaPraire, LaMer, just to name a few. And of course Sephora…this stuff beats them all! I loved it so much, I bought 4 jars just to make sure I didn’t run out anytime soon. A little goes a long way, if you use more than a dime/nickel amount then you WILL feel greasy. It doesn’t take much. I’ve finally found my holy grail for daytime moisturizer. Please please Skinceuticals, don’t ever discontinue this!

Lightweight, but feels plastic-y

I got this moisturizer because I normally have "normal skin" but was needing to increase my moisturizer routine due to drying side effects from retinol. I feel like I have to lather on a bunch of product to get good moisturizing affect. Even when I purposefully go lighter on the amount it still ends up feeling like my face is covered in a tight, sticky, plastic/glue covering. I think this very lightweight moisturizer would be better for oily skin and that the plastic-y feeling might be less if someone had some natural oils on their skin. I will not buy this product again, but I love their other products so will try their moisturizers for dry skin next.

MAXIMIZES PORES!!! Honest review

It doesn’t totally the opposite, MAXIMIZES PORES!!! Pills under makeup. Face look very shiny and pores more noticeable, even from feets away. Does not hydrate at all. I tryed alone, over SkinCeuticals Phloretin CF, Silymarin CF, CE Ferulic, Hydrating B5 Gel, and HA. INTENSIFIER and didn’t work with any other product or by itself. It absorbs, yes, but leaves a very shiny film.

This moisturizer is "fine" not bad and not great

I regularly invest the big bucks in Dermstore's C/ferulic serum and the triple lipid restore moisturizer. So even though this moisturizer cost considerably less I assumed it would still feel luxe. It doesn't. I was hoping for a daytime moisturizer to use in the morning that wouldn't interfere with the contents of my serums that I can't mix with vitamin C but I can't because of the way it pills under make up. I find on my skin it leaves a white cast as well. It isn't terrible and I am still using it at night until I find another night time moisturizer I like but I was originally hoping to use this one during the day and the triple lipid restore at night.
