SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser 200 ml

I’m a person that never washed make up off at the end of the day. I moved to using the pre moistened wipes that I would periodically use to remove makeup. I never had skin problems and didn’t see why others used cleansers. I was given a sample of this cleanser and loved it. I fought the full sized bottle and have been consistently using it to wash my face morning and night. I don’t really notice a difference in my skin as my skin was good prior to using it but I do notice that my skin feels softer and the smell is so soft and lovely. I just purchased my second full sized bottle.

Cystic Acne

This is a very nice cleanser as I switch between the LHA cleanser and this cleanser. The LHA cleanser I can not live without! However, the LHA cleanser can dry me out a tad, so adding this into my acne routine twice a week has really helped with the dryness. Plus do not forget about the HA serum! I am a true believer in SkinCeuticals. The products are top notch! Thank you SkinCeuticals!

Daily Cleanser

I am 35 with sensitive skin that would frequently dry out by when I used cleansers. Because of this, I would only use a cleanser on my skin every other day, and then water and a washcloth on off days. I started using this cleanser in 2020 and have been using it every day since. I have not had nearly as many issues with acne, it doesn't aggravate my skin, and one bottle lasts a while. I feel I should mention that I don't really wear makeup, so I don't know if this would be strong enough to be a makeup remover. I also pair this with the Vichy 89 moisturizer, which is enough for me most days.

Doesn't remove makeup or sunscreen

I'm so surprised this has so many great reviews for removing make up because it didn't do that at all. I had a sunscreen (SkinMedica) and a tinted moisturizer (Bare Minerals Complexion Gel) on my face and it didn't remove much of anything. I cleansed for 30 seconds and went to rinse it off and there was still so much makeup left on my skin. I even tried it on my eye make up and same result. The formula itself is great and is cosmetically elegant, but it is probably best to be used on bare skin for a soothing and hydrating cleanse, not a first step make up remover/cleanser.

Great Cleanser

I was surprised and delighted with the cleanser. It is now my favorite. I am also using a gel cleanser from Skinceuticals but reach for this one. I like the creamy consistency and gentle formula for my dry skin. It cleanses thoroughly and removes my makeup. It is a bit thick to get through the pump but controls the amount to dispense.

Great product, faulty pump

I have sensitive skin and gave tried many cleansers. This one is gentle yet does the job well. Nice thick texture and pleasant citrusy scent. However, I really struggled with the pump - it broke right away when I gently twisted it as instructed. The bottle is made of hard plastic so you can't really squeeze it into another container. Please fix the bottle and pump design.

Hydra Balm

This is another Skinceuticals product that I really can’t go without. I always purchase 2 at a time so I don’t run out. It helps my dry skin so much especially after using my retinol treatments and just when my skin is feeling dry. I see that the product is out of stock. Please! Please! Don’t discontinue this product or try to “ reformulate“ to make it better. Sometimes it’s best to just leave a good thing alone!

O-k Cleanser - Doesn't remove makeup whatsoever

I bought this cleanser based on a recommendation from one of the Skinceuticals live licensed aestheticians. Usually I use the Simply Clean Gel cleanser but that's been out of stock for a couple months now (along with pretty much all of my other products) and I was in desperate need of a cleanser. I was hopeful it would be similar as far as cleaning my face goes and removing any impurities and makeup. Well, its definitely NOT similar (full disclosure I wear a light coverage liquid foundation). This cleanser was unable to remove my makeup after 4 washes. Would NOT recommend.It was also delivered in a box damaged beyond belief - as in there was water inside the cellophane wrap that encased the item and the shipping box looked like someone used it for soccer practice.

Perfect, wonder

I was recommended this product years ago from my dermatologist, so I bought one, and now it’s all I use. My regimen is, once in the morning, six rinses, then twice in the evening, with six rinses after each wash. I’ll occasionally use a Buff Puff sponge, which I order from Amazon. The soft light pink one. At 73, I am complimented on my skin frequently. I have a subscription from LovelySkin for SkinCeuticals. It’s the only cleanser, other than makeup remover in the evenings, that I use. Can’t leave home without it either.

Product good, container pump = bad

Product is satisfactory. I’ve used the Gentle Cleanser before and like the product. However the pump for the container was defective and the product would not dispense properly.Thought I’d have to return bottle after trying multiple times over a couple of days vigorously pumping (50+times) to try and get the dispenser to work. Eventually, it did work but was very frustrating!
