SkinCeuticals Redness Neutralizer 50 ml

I am rating it two stars simply because it made my skin sting so badly. I have sensitive, redness prone, sensitive skin. Combination, dry in the t zone and oily on the chin and jaw line. I could tell as soon as it touched my skin it wasn't going to be good. It started to mildly sting and I should have stopped, covered my face thinking maybe it'll stop. Didn't, took it off..so...red. red for a couple hours but my skin is perfectly fine after. Not using again. Added a star for no sent and pleasant texture.

I will and forever always trust Skin Ceuticals as a brand, they’re skincare offering is other worldly. I purchased this product for a friend who suffers with moderate redness and within 4 weeks she was reduced to tears with the results. It has been a self conscious element of hers for the longest time and she’s now confident wearing less coverage foundations and not so much concealer! HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

Gorgeous

This cream was recommended to me by a dermatology clinic to use at night on my days between retinol applications. It costs an eye-watering sum but I do think it's worth it. My skin always looks plump, dewy and even and feels super smooth, calm and soothed on waking. I also use a little bit after applying retinol to stop my skin from peeling. There's little to no fragrance, which I love - I don't understand why some brands use such strong fragrance in skincare, faces don't beed to be perfumed! And it's a lovely texture which somehow manages to feel deeply hydrating and cosseting without being heavy or greasy, and doesn't clog my oily skin. Shame it's so expensive but you get what you pay for in this case - use sparingly to make it last!

It really works

I suffer from a mild rosacea, causing me small breakouts that they’ve been bothering since the last 2 years, thanks to the wear of the masks because of COVID. I decided to go to Skin Clinic for a consultation and they recommended this products with other 3 from the same brand. The first month I didn’t get the expected results so I had a phone call review and I was recommended to continue for another 4 weeks which know I can see progress. My skin looks better, the redness is still there but not as bad as it was and the breakouts are less. I know now that proper treatments takes time to see results and I just have to be consistent with my skin care routine by using Skinceuticals products. They are not cheap but they worth the investment on my skin.

Mixed Review!

I have mild rosacea and acne prone, sensitive skin. I was hoping this would help me with the redness on my cheeks. I haven’t used this quite long enough to figure it out - though I will note that the first few times I used it, I felt like I noticed more congestion on my cheek areas. I can’t tell if it’s correlated yet! It is very light and moisturizing but I felt more of a “soothing” action from the Skinceuticals Phytocorrective line.

Not what I hoped

Caveat is that I love SkinCeuticals and continue to re-purchase products that work for me, but I may not have the right skin type for this. Left an oily sheen and actually irritated / stressed my skin. I tried for a few days hoping it was a matter of adjusting but this actually made my redness worse. Really wish this worked for me.

Redness prone

I purchased this in hopes of it helping me control my redness. I get super bright red almost looking like racoon but instead my eyes are my regular skin tone and the rest of my face is looking like a stop light. This product after 2 months of continuous use did absolutely nothing for me. I used to have really bad acne and have tons of acne scares to show. I treated my acne with accutane. So if my issues and symptoms sound similar to yours skip on this product. I still rely heavily on skinceauticals for my face wash and other serums, but for redness I will continue to search elsewhere.

Rosacea almost gone

I’ve been using Finacea for two months and it hadn’t worked to clear my papulopustular rosacea... I was using it alone because all other moisturizers, no matter how simple or how I’d been able to use them before the rosacea started a year ago, caused the little pustules to pop up all over. I used this in college for slight pinkness and I remembered it and decided to try it again since I still have lots of Skinceuticals stuff (I use Phyto plus but ran out a while ago). Omg. Immediately after using it my skin felt so much better. Less hot and prickly, just better. I didn’t wake up with a new set of pustules, and I was now pink the next day instead of totally red. Wonderful for Rosacea Sufferers

I have rosacea and it has driven me crazy trying to downplay the redness, especially my nose. I read reviews about this product and decided to give it a try. It really works! It calms down a flare up in no time and it works well with your makeup application. It is a light cream that leaves your skin feeling very soft and healthy looking. I highly recommend this for people who suffer with rosacea. It is not cheap but it takes very little to get the job done!

Works Amazingly Well!

I have been using this product for over a year. I have bad rosacea and am always looking for products that actually deliver what they promise: decreasing redness. This one does! I used to only use it in the warmer months, but now I use it year round even in CT. My skin feel moisturized but not sticky. Makeup goes on very well over it. I love it! Great product.
