The leaves on the side to open the container are really cute and I thought they would be great for my 2-year old to open at daycare. Alas, one week in and the tiny plastic hinge piece was broken off and now the lid no longer seals. Basically the container is now useless. Not worth the money. Also the cute design on the front was already scratching off. I can imagine an older kid (who throws around their lunch kit even more) would have damaged it even sooner.

Absolutely fantastic for kindergarten!

In August my 3.5 year old started kinder. They have to be interpendant and open their lunch boxes and close them with no teacher help. I was a little worried about this. I first bought the giraffe design for my boy, he loves the fun animal on it ( and it stands out in the run of lunch boxes) but also it is so simple and easy to use! I send him off every day knowing he will be absolutely fine getting his lunch. Even the small container inside is very kid friendly to use. It’s a great size, not too big and not too small either. I since have gone back and purchased 2 more of these lunch boxes as I find them amazing! Can’t recomend enough! 5 stars!

Clasp does not hold tightly, nor does it seal tightly along the sides

I bought this in advance of school...packed it up for the first time today and realized that the clasp is so flimsy it opens with the lightest touch (or accidental brush) making it useless to put in my child's backpack. It will dump out immediately when she tries to take it out of her back. Also the lid does not seal around the sides, so food will leak and crumbs will fall out. I moved her lunch over to a better quality bento-style box that I bought. If I had saved the receipt I would return this lunch box.

I loved this lunchbox but broke soon after purchase
4 October 2017

I purchased several lunch containers from different brands and this was by far my favorite, but after only a week it broke. I figured it was dropped at daycare so I purchased a second one. It also broke as I closed the clasp after only having it a couple weeks. I had the monkey one - maybe some animals are more durable than others. I still use the bottom pieces and the little containers that come with it.

So Disappointed
14 March 2019

Have gone through 3 of these!!! The clasps keep breaking and our daughter only uses it 2x a week for snack at preschool.Wanted to love it as I love the designs and its PERFECT for preschool, but keep wasting my money to buy new ones. It's really unfortunate because I had the older version of this and it lasted so long, so had high hopes for this one, but the new make is horrible. Cute design, but tired of having to replace it.

So disappointing!
9 April 2019

I am very disappointed with this lunch container. I bought 3 and all of them are leaking! The plastic lid broke at the same place ( in the middle ) and I cannot use any of them anymore. It is very frustrating because they are very cute and handy and my kids love them! I have a lot of skip hop products ( lunch bags, backpacks, bottles, utensils, plate etc.) and these containers are the only one I am not happy about. I do not wash them in the dishwasher so I really do not understand why they break so easily and at the same spot.

The worst containers ever!
30 April 2019

These are the worst lunch containers I have ever had. The lids broke after 2 months and they are leaking because of the incorrect seal. It was a total waste of money, I am really disappointed and frustrated. The quality is so bad and I am wondering how this company could make something terrible like those containers?! We have 3 and all of the are useless now.

These "lunch" kits are very small.
2 August 2018

I bought the dog and bee kits. They are very cute, but very small. Thankfully, my child is an infant and I bought these as snack containers for on-the-go. He will be able to use them as a toddler and probably into Kindergarten, but definitely NOT as a lunch kit. I don't think a sandwich will fit inside unless the crust is cut off and the inner container is taken out, and it still may not fit whole. My kits are durable. The tops snap into place. The side latches are easy to use, but don't unlatch recklessly as other reviews state. The inner containers are also durable and seal wonderfully. I do recommend these kits, but you may be disappointed if you think you can fit a child's (or toddler's) lunch into the containers.

This works great for our tubie!
5 July 2019

We ordered this container to use as our "emergency tube kit" and it's great! My infant daughter is feeding tube dependent and this was the perfect answer to keep all of the extra supplies that we need for just in case when we go out. It fits well into my diaper bag or her modified zoo backpack, so I always know where everything is. The cute design makes her medical supplies less scary and more mainstream when we are out and about.

Very disappointed
29 July 2018

I was actually very excited about this lunch kit but was extremely disappointed when I received it and with the slightest touch the face started peeling off! I have to admit this is the cutest design we've seen, my daughter loved all her blossom butterfly mealtime products but can't believe that a scratch can ruin everything. I also have a hard time closing the tupper, it opens extremely easily and that worries me because all the food can fall from my kid's hands in just a few seconds. The smaller tupper works just fine.
