Disgusting. So salty I couldn't eat it, and NO peanut flavor whatsoever. Tastes like over-salted lard. Bought it cause they were out of Jif. Going in the trash can. I feel sorry for people who think this resembles food. By the way, Jif will knock you over with the smell of roasted peanuts when you open the jar. Tastes like fresh peanuts too. I swear Skippy tastes like lard.

Lo, the mighty industrialized peanut and its maligned heritage.Oh, I'm certain that an organic, bespoke peanut lives a more dignified life. As Sylvia Plath once wrote, "The peanut-crunching crowd" probably specifically means peanuts that are destined for a jar of Skippy.A real game-changer in the fight against Covid, this 64-oz bucket of Skippy Super-crunch prevents me from going to the supermarket at least 4 or 5 times. I have loved Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter for almost 80 years. I remember when it was the sponsor of the TV show "You Asked For It" back in the fifties. I tried choosing the Like/Dislike choices this review system offered me but I frankly do not know how to rate it on Friendliness. It has never done anything mean to me, but frankly, it hasn't gone out of its way to do something friendly for me. It just sort of lays there in the jar. I marked that I Liked the smoothness, and then I marked that I liked the Texture, but to be frank, I would think those are the same thing. But, like Coke vs Pepsi, Skippy tastes different from other peanut butters and if you like its taste over others, then you'll like it, but if you prefer Peter Pan or Jiff, then you would probably be ... MoreI have loved Skippy Creamy Peanut Butter for almost 80 years. I just wish my local Walmarts, a superstore and a neighborhood market, carried the 40oz jars in the stores. They used to, but I have not been able to find it in about 6 months, so I just order online enough to get free shipping and that is working great.

Why was such preferrance shown to the peanut butter and not the ice cream? :( ....I'm not that crazy about peanut butter but love the ice cream. I wish I were in a position to tip...I think they'd rather get a raise than a tip anyway. We pay Walmart for "free" dleivery. If someone works for you...they should get a raise...not expect your customers to tip them for what they're supposed to do. That's a bad policy. Just saying...don't get insulted...you know that's right! We already pay enough for food. Especially those of us who aren't able to work anymore (Because of illness/old age.)...usually both.
Horrible, tasted like regular Peanut Butter. In fact, I tried to buy the Great Value version, which was my first experience with a delish honey roasted peanut butter, HFC free. It was amazing. But OoS. SO I tried this stuff, not nearly as good. Total waste of money. Won't recommend this to anyone. Wait for GV return and try their Honey Roast PB. Its out of this world.
I love peanut butter and Skippy has to be the best out there. I’ve tried organic, just peanuts PB, the list goes on. But Skippy, for me, is that taste of comfort. The soul is replenished. The world seems right again. The spirit is lifted. Add your favorite jam, jelly or preserves. Or Chocolate! Butter! Good stuff.
Kiddos favorite peanut butter. Spreads smoothly without tearing bread or crackers. Consistent on flavor and taste jar after jar. We use a 16.3 oz. jar every week at our house. I use the 16 ounce size over larger sizes to maintain freshness and taste. Kiddos take peanut butter and jelly or honey every day for lunch, never get tired of it.Definitely our house favorite, we haven't purchased any other brand for over 5 years.
My family has used Skippy for over sixty years - it was a staple in our kitchens. You could always count on it being the same excellent quality and taste. Sadly, it is no longer a staple.Something is different; and yet, I have seen where the makers of Skippy say that "nothing has changed". That is simply not true. It doesn't taste the same and it is thin and very oily - almost pourable. Why they changed it, I do not know. The last two jars have been stored in my refrigerator to try and thicken them up - which did not work. I am now using it for my dog's treats. Guess I am going to try another brand and hope for the best!
This is my partner’s favorite brand of pb. It’s become mine as well. It’s very sweet, smooth, can be eaten as a condiment for fruit, an ingredient in many of the best cookies and reindeer chow recipes know to man, a favorite topping/mix-in for coco-wheats, use it to get gum out of your kid’s hair, to bait mouse traps, or in my family’s case, to eat by the spoonful as a snack. My mom always bought Peter Pan pb. I’m happy I can get the good stuff now that I’m a grownup. She was just holding me back from excellence. Run, don’t walk to the PB aisle at Sam’s Club and treat-yo-self!
This is the nicest peanut butter Ive ever had, which is why I dont buy it anymore. Clearly I need to work on my self-control as I end up eating this out of the jar with a spoon. Not ideal for the waistline. I now only buy the healthier options which dont contain any of the extra ingredients. The nicest one Ive had comes in a paint tin and only has a small amount of salt added and is described as smunchy. It is a really nice alternative that doesnt have that super-moreish effect on me!
