I still like the sound a lot without bass boost. If you love huge bass or feel content not using the bass boost, and you don't have a big head, these headphones might work great for you. Otherwise I'd recommend looking into something else.

Not nearly as comfortable as Crusher Wireless, Bass you can feel, these headphones are a major step down from the originals. The sound has an echo feel and the bass adjuster isn't as versatile as the originals. The swivel at the ears helps to store them but makes it uncomfortable to wear especially if, for example, you're lying down with your head on a pillow-it kind of makes them fit weird and I find myself constantly adjusting them. The overall structure seems sturdier and the travel pouch is awesome. But I'm very sad the fake leather around the ears peeled off of my originals, they were great. The ear pad seems to be made of the same cheap fake leather, which means they won't last more than a few years either, if you're an everyday listener like me. The first thing I did upon arrival of these headphones was the personal EQ setup in the app. After the test which was a series of tones played in both ears checking to see if a noise registered, it then automatically set a EQ preset which was adjusted to my hearing from the app test.I then put them on and dialed up one of my favorite songs, as soon as the song started playing I could tell something was different. It wasn’t until the chorus of the song that I knew something was a lot different. I was hearing parts of this song I didn’t even realize was there. I own the original CRUSHER with bass adjustment so I put them on and played the same song just to make sure I wasn’t delusional, or that it wasn’t a new mix of the song. It wasn’t , it was the same song I have bumped over and over yet with my new Crusher EVO I was hearing it like iv never heard it before.I absolutely loved my old Crusher’s so the bar was set high to pass my level of respect for them. I have owned BEATS solo, Mixer, Pro Studio’s and the one that came close to the Crusher was my Beats Mixer headphones. And at the time when I bought the Crusher was about $200 cheaper than my Beats. I was immediately surprised when I tested the Crusher at the store. It sounded and felt like I was in my car bumping down the street, or at club or party. So like I said the bar was set high. These Crusher EVO Sensory have not only met that bar, but set a new level. The Bass is still there but now you add these crisp mid and highs sounds that have been adjusted just to your hearing levels from the personalized EQ…GAME CHANGER!These headphones have absolutely changed how and what I’m hearing in music. If there’s love at first sight then there has to be love at first hearing. Your mind will be blown when you listen to music or songs you have played for years, when you hear how they sound with a pair of these on.

Good but the bass is just a novelty.

It’s interesting listening to the different mixes with the bass slider turned all the way up. You can hear which tracks have been mixed with sub-bass in mind as the mix remains clear but with your head vibrating between the cups. Other tracks can completely wash out and other times I’ve had to check whether I had accidentally turned the bass back down as it didn’t seem to exist.Turning the bass up is a bit of a novelty and most of my listening is done with the slider just slightly up from the bottom. The headphones are bass heavy anyway so I would never use them for actual audio work. The quality feels good, the headphones and comfy, and the battery life feels good. You can really tell the difference when using the cable instead of Bluetooth for audio as this turns the personal sound off.Overall I do wonder whether I’ve made getting the Crusher Evo and should have instead gone for the ANC as this would’ve given me the bass I want for general listening with the personal sound and EQ settings but would’ve gained the active noise cancelling.

I searched for the piece's for days to try and fix them to no avail. I have no income at the moment as my abuser became so possessive of me he wouldn't let me work we without causing issues at job's. So now as I write this, he is in jail, I am at a shelter for domestic violence victims and I have a stupid pair of headphones that someone was kind enough to give me. But, I can't even begin to explain my love for these headphones and this company you guy's made things so easy to order ask questions etc. Great company and even better product. I still use music as a cooping mechanism as it is the only thing that has never left me or died. But right now I am not called "headphones" because my abuser took them from me again knowing how much they meant to me. I'm lost, I'm scared and I don't know what the next day will bring but I am standing on all ten toes and I still have some music and that will just have to do for right now. Thanks for being such a great company.

Literally “okay” is the best way to put this, but the bass is so bad! I am so disappointed in ordering a 150 dollar pair of regular headphones. Now that i’m thinking of it, it has more troubles then not. THE WORST IS THE BASS SOUNDS SET OFF WHEN I WALK EVEN IF IT IS OFF. I will be walking with low music and all i can hear is the boom of my steps as loud as the bass can get, even if slightest tap will set the bass off. When it’s on the base is so low compared to any other Skullcandy headphones I have ever tried or had, to the point I thought I got a defective pair. My adjustable bass barely changes it and it is nothing special I just feel like it’s banging on my ear. I am not just complaining about it out of no where my friend has the slightly more expensive pair and non of these bass issues. This pairs bass gives me a headache in comparison. I have been using these for a few months now and ever since day one I knew I should’ve got a pricier pair of adjustable bass headphones. I just find that part weird since Skullcandy is a brand I knew to not sacrifice quality with its price. That’s why I thought this pair would be fine. I dealt with them being less comfortable, less features, and delt with this being the lesser pair. BUT BAD BASS ON THIS PAIR?? SO DISAPPOINTED!!! I am leaving one star because the price is absolutely what makes this not the worth while pair.

I am an music fanatic. I listen to just about every genre of music. Love my AirPod Pros, however over ear cannot be beat for best sound quality. Owning for three months I feel I can give a honest review. I wanted something with increased lower end response to feel as was listening to my home audio system. These are extremely comfortable feel so great on head and over the ears. Then when I connected to my devices via Bluetooth DANG! The quality I had been searching for was unbelievable finally found. The control over increase/decrease the lower end resopne for the style and genre of music I listen to amazing. Very clear high ends as well. I am able to control most devices from the headphones which I like. Battery life is really great. The connectivity to my iPhone ... MoreI am an music fanatic. The connectivity to my iPhone for use with calls as good as my AirPods, yet still no replacement for their use I also need. The Skullcandy app must have and allows auditory setup like AirPods for hearing infraction, which I have. Tile is also available so you can locate if misplaced with in a location. Would I purchase again, most definitely and have recommended to both my adult children to include numerous friends. I did get these on a sale and had many points to use so I did not pay the full price, which has made them ever sweeter. I just did not wish to pay for the much higher end over ear headphones to be disappointed and these have not!

Poor quality control

I bought these headphones for the entire purpose of the bass slider which is amazing, don’t get me wrong, but there are some concerns I noticed especially for the $200 price tag for these headphones. The bass is annoyingly unbalanced. The right ear cup has most of the bass, and it is quite obvious, and it’s not worth trying to ignore. When I flipped the headphones around, the bass was now more focused to the left side. They are also not worth returning since the company is too cheap to pay for shipping labels. I also noticed very poor consistency in the instructions and features on the box. Some online videos say that 10 minutes of charging will give you FOUR hours of play time, while the box says it will give you THREE? And the app says it will give you four again? ... MoreI bought these headphones for the entire purpose of the bass slider which is amazing, don’t get me wrong, but there are some concerns I noticed especially for the $200 price tag for these headphones. What is it, three or four? It makes it feel like a knock off. Also the instructions for a reset do not correlate correctly with how it actually happens. The LED flashes purple when you turn it on and off, but it’s suppressed to do that when performing a reset. The instructions for pairing also differ from the box instructions vs the manual/ online videos. I want to like these headphones, and I still use them every day, but these issues should not be present within a $200 product.

Youve done it again Skullcandy, amazing headphones

Needed a new pair of headphones in general. I wanted them to be used for music when I’m relaxing or when I’m working out. Love the bass on these headphones, my favorite thing about them. When I’m up in the clouds these headphones are tagging along and keeping up with its amazing sound output. I use them wired on my MacBook since the Bluetooth connection to them sounds off, not a big deal. Still sounds great. While working out they do stay on for the most part, up until I’m laying on a yoga mat, then sometimes it can slip. I don’t think these were made specifically for working out so i won’t hold it against the headphones. The Bluetooth connection is great and the bass is still heavy. If something happens to these, I know I’m going to get skullcandy again.
