We moved it about 7' away from screen and note that's about the farthest you can be away from screen and get a decent projection from the unit. Ideally you want to be about 3' away I believe, but at that distance I'm worried about a ball striking the projector. The Skytrack software works great and seems to be reasonably accurate. I look forward to taking the skytrack unit out to the range to test its accuracy. The Golf Club 2019 software is finicky. You have to physically connect the skytrack unit to the computer in order for all the product licensing to process properly, which then allows you to launch TGC 2019 software. Then you can disconnect the skytrack and hope, yes hope, it connects remotely with the software. It can be difficult to get the skytrack to connect in network mode after you remove the USB connection. Also will mention a couple of times the skytrack just looses connection while we're mid game and basically you have to restart everything, which sucks b/c game is lost. If I had it to do over again I'd probably try one of the other simulation software packages.Screen mounting was easy and it works great retracting up and down. Since it's not permanent please note the screen isn't a perfectly flat surface b/c it's taking ball strikes which leaves indentions, etc.The Fiberbuilt mats are very nice, just note they're not something you're gonna take down and put up frequently. They're bulky and need to stay wherever you put them.I really like having access to the unit and able to keep a club in my hand more frequently. Still got a lot to learn as I'm only about 2 weeks into it.

I have used this product for a year. It is time to renew my annual plan. The website will not accept payments, nobody will answer their phones, my ticket number has never been addressed, their "chat" feature they discuss on their recorded message does not exist. I have a 2K paperweight currently since they won't renew my subscription. I'm not sure if they have gone out of business or are just horribly mismanaged. I would say very far away from this company. Customer service is nonexistent I'm sorry to say! Anyone want to buy a used Sky Track?

The hardware is fine. The software is the worst. First you have to use a password that is 8 digits or less. Who does that in this insecure world. Second, basic concepts like passwords do not copy in automatically from a saved password manager like Dashlane or Icloud. Third, the most recent update has been a disaster. They are forcing us to change passwords (who knows why) and then attempting to results in a 501 Gateway error.Fourth the software setup of the hardware to the network looks like it was written in Fortran in 1977. The UI is clunky and there is no automatic discovery. They could learn something from the Alexa config of wireless. If you get past all of the configuration nonsense, it does the job. But the effort to get this unit setup is beyond the pale.

One of the most impressive things about the SkyTrak home golf simulator is its accuracy. As you can see in the video all you have to do is place the ball on the little red light. The simulator uses advanced technology to accurately track your ball flight, providing you with a precise picture of your shot's trajectory, spin, and speed. This level of accuracy is unmatched by other home golf simulators, and it makes the SkyTrak an excellent choice for serious golfers who want to improve their game. Out of other simulators I’ve tried like the mevo + and the garmin the SkyTrak is my favorite for an indoor simulator. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with a limited amount of space indoors!!

Purchased SkyTrak, the Homecourse Retractable Screen, the Homecourse Wall Mount, and the Fiberbuilt Golf Mat from Top Shelf Golf. SkyTrak seems to be very accurate (definitely reflects my real on course misses), but be aware there is a 2 or 3 second delay between hitting the ball and seeing the flight on the screen. Not a big deal, but it is not instantaneous. Also, the Homecourse Screen is great as you can put in away when you are done and have your entire room back, but when the golf ball hits the screen to does make a loud noise...louder than I expected anyway. Again, not an issue for me (though it took the dog a few days to get used to it), but something worth noting. Overall, i am very satisfied with the product and service I received from Top Shelf. Would definitely buy from them again.

Decent Simulator, Horrible Accounting Practices at Sky Golf
19 September 2022

For the money, I would give Sky Trak a 4 star review for the actual simulator. It works well with my IOS and has nice graphics. I think it is challenging to align and keep aligned. That said, when it is aligned I find it to be very accurate and it matches my on course distances and shot shapes. It does not record about 2% of my shots. My biggest issue with Sky Trak is the parent company Sky Golf. They have a very outdated account portal and their accounting practices might be illegal. Sky Trak requires the purchase of e6 software through them instead of directly through Tru Golf, the developer of e6. The annual contract is $645. Last year, I renewed my contract 1 ½ months early on Sept 7 instead of on the expiration date of 10/23. Last year, I renewed my contract 1 ½ months early on Sept 7 instead of on the expiration date of 10/23. Last week I went to play on e6 but my account was no longer authorized. Sky Golf resets annual expiration dates to match the purchase date, even on renewals. So, because I renewed early I lost 1 ½ months of my $645 contract.Sky Golf confirmed this practice when I called to complain. Furthermore, I learned That if you buy a subscription as a gift, the authorization starts on the purchase date not when the authorization code is applied to the software. Their representative was unwilling to give me a 1 1/2 month credit and stated that its just the way they do things. Beware, Sky Golf will fleece you of subscription fees at every turn.I give Sky Golf 0 stars on their accounting practices.

Good Product
20 December 2022

The unit is very solid, I've had it over a year. My only reason for 4 star is I was experiencing an issue registering zero shots to which I could not find a resolution with Skytrak. I was unable to find any manuals, forums, Youtube's and had to call Skytrak. The long and the short of it is I had dust on my camera, not very much mind you. But if your unit unexpectantly stops registering shots, wipe off the camera lens. This could be common sense for most people but due to the few hours of aggravation with not being to find any information on this I thought I would post.

Hold off or find something different
19 March 2023

Since Golftec took over, the iOS app has become unusable and for a lot of people, makes the entire skytrak unusable. The app won't stay connected and constantly freezes/crashes and is guaranteed to frustrate even the most patient of people. Take a second to check out the newest reviews on the app first before clicking the "Buy Now" button to see for yourself. If you have a computer to run it on, it might be alright but even after owning for about a year, I would not buy this one again. It's painfully slow, inaccurate at times, and the customer support is non-existent (so far).

SkyTrak in the Garage!
22 March 2022

The SkyTrak has been really fun and I've only really used like 20% of the functionality. I went with the SkyTrak with protective case (must have) and the 9'x9' Preferred Finished Golf Impact Screen. I can only imagine the premium screen is incredibly nice because the preferred looks and works great. It can easily fold and roll up. I was concerned that the preferred screen wouldn't be thick enough to absorb shots well, but not the case at all. Just give the net about a foot or so behind of room to absorb the shot impacts. The screen also doesn't make as loud of an impact sound as I expected. Reading reviews for other impact screens, that seemed like a big issue for some. Not the case with the preferred. Doesn't even really make a sound at all.Overall very happy ... MoreThe SkyTrak has been really fun and I've only really used like 20% of the functionality. Skytrak launch monitor

I dont know a whole lot about launch monitors, but I did research for a while before I settled on this one. It seems to work great. When I played my first round, I was like what?!? My hits were not going as far as I thought they should. Then I realized it was calculating more than just my swing. Wind, height, etc was all calculated in, so it is a little more realistic. Heres the catch you should think about prior to purchase. The monitor requires a yearly subscription. Look it up first prior to buying. Also, the iPad and Mac is not compatible with all uses. If you want certain programs like E6 or golf2019, you will need a computer. In conclusion, if you want accuracy and dont mind paying out of pocket, this is perfect. If you want cheap and dont care too much about precision, go with optishot. Optishot is super cheap to build sim. Personally, I want precision and to better my game. If you are the same, go with this. Just be ready to pay. (Unless you only want the range. That comes free) The extra out of pocket is why I gave this a 4 star. I wish it came with a few courses. If it did, and it was also more compatiblewith Mac, it would have gotten a 5.
