The Cloud Single Seater with Slate Slipcover

The chair is extremely comfortable to sit in but it gives off some kind of fumes. I had a strong reaction to it and ended up feeling "hungover". I washed the covers and hung them outside for a week - and sat the body of the chair itself in an open area for a fortnight and it seemed fine with only a faint smell when I reassembled it - only within minutes of sitting in it, I had burning, watery eyes, and was developing a headache. I'm very disappointed as it was expensive and having bought numerous chairs from Temple and Webster, is the only one I've had this reaction to. I would seek to return it only I've washed the covers. They washed easily and retained their look.

This chair looks great - but it's done my back in. No support. The springs are cheap and the cushion material feels quite hard after sitting in it for a while. I am going to try putting a piece of plywood under the seat cushion to see if that fixes the problem. If not, plan B is to get the seat cushions re-filled with better foam core. Plan C, if all else fails, is to get proper springs to support the cushion. If I didn't think these were gorgeous I wouldn't be bothering but they really are nice and the price was good.

I ordered 8 salsa rattan & bentwood dining chairs & they were delivered to my house within 1-2 days. I was so happy with how fast they came. The chairs are also amazing quality, they have a padded seat to ensure extra comfort which is why I chose to order from black mango as every other chair I looked at from other companies had a rattan seat which wasn’t comfortable & also not practical as they are easily broken. I am super happy with my purchase & couldn’t recommend black mango enough!

I have the 3 seater in Stone and 2x singles in Slate. We love love love them. We don’t give the Stone colour any special treatment being a lighter colour and my 2 year old doesn’t understand no eating, drawing or jumping with muddy feet on the lounge. I even catch our long haired border collie sleeping on it at night and the fabric is that of a miracle, I used to get it dry cleaned but found better results putting it on a delicate cold wash with stain remover and it ALL comes out perfect. We have had chocolate custard, red wine spilt, actual mud and the rest and it has always washed out. It is so durable I don’t rush to wash it anymore cause the stains come out even weeks after crayon and chocolate and mud has been spilt/ stomped on it. We have slept on in countless ... It is so comfortable, the feathers never come out of ours and it plumps up perfectly and washes up like new.
Thought I will put up a review for these chairs as it will be helpful for others :) I purchased a coffee table and 6 salsa white chairs. Coffee table was great but 3 chairs of 6 arrived damaged. !I did not expect this level of poor quality from Black Mango. So I returned them all and got a refund. Customer service was great and arranged delivery next day and provided a refund.
Whilst I absolutely love the look of my cloud sofas, the same can’t be said for comfort. My single seater is more comfy than My 3 seater so I have rated it a 5 as it looks amazing and I can tell the quality is top notch. In comparison my 3 seater cloud sofa is really not comfortable to sit on. the covers are so tight that it compresses the foam and feathers and feels quite solid. I have emailed and gotten pointers and still not much improvement. It has been months and I’m hoping that with plenty more wear it’ll get more comfortable. If I was rating the 3 seater I’d unfortunately rate lower based on comfort.
Purchased 6 chairs. All cheaply made and the quality is reflective of that. The rattan is broken in many places which will no doubt snag the clothing of everyone who sits on them; the rattan is burnt in places which results in inconsistent colouring; the legs are not even so they wobble; there are little black marks on some of the legs; there is paint chips; masking tape left on before painting and in one instance a chair is squashed so is a different shape to the others. Overall pretty unhappy and trying to figure o. How we can make them usable. Couple of stars for the quick delivery.
Thank you so much Black Mango! We purchased the Royale wingback armchair and Emma storage ottoman in Emerald. Not only are the pieces beautiful and just what we were hoping for but the team at Black Mango are incredible! After a hiccup with the freight company - only one of our pieces were delivered, we contacted Black Mango and they tracked down the second piece in record time and had it delivered to us the next day. Absolutely outstanding customer service. Thank you so much Alicia and Stacey - your attention to detail and wonderful communication made what could have been a very stressful experience so easy. We will definitely be ordering from Black Mango again 🧡
I was skeptical buying a chair online when I couldn’t sit in it first but I figured the overwhelmingly positive reviews couldn’t all be wrong. I took the plunge into the ‘Cloud’ and couldn’t be happier! It’s the most comfortable chair, stylish, affordable price point, and such fast interstate delivery. I’m very impressed and wish I had room for a matching lounge right now! Also, the box has been a huge hit with my cat!!!
The rattan chairs are really beautiful to look at & really comfy to sit on. They are even better in real life than pictured on the website! So happy I choose the white which makes the rattan pop & goes so well with my new oak dining table.Black Mango’s service was excellent & I would definitely recommend them.
