This was exactly what I was looking for. They are small, secure and have a quality feel. The best part is that they have both 1/4-20 and 3/8-18 holes for mounting a variety of items.

Pluses:Really cheap - and good build quality for the priceRange of clamping space is quite incredible - can even clamp on the edge of aputure hyper reflectors and allow me to gel lights (which is what i bought them for).Minuses:The rubber pad on the clamp is a bit loose. I clamped them on to a handle bar - immediately the rubber had a tear and started popping off more.The rubber is smelly and leaves residue behind.

These are great little (and I mean small) clamps and do the job well. I use them to attach speed lights to odd places, hair lights from the crossbar on backgrounds, on the floor to support background lights and any number of other things.

I have several of these and use them often. They're solid, and the price point is amazing. I'm always threading bits of gear into the 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch sockets. I find that the non-slip rubber pads can leave a small amount of oily residue on certain surfaces, but nothing that would cause me to deduct a star from my rating.
These clamps were just what I needed. Super easy to attach to the SmallRig Articulating Arm. Clamps are sturdy enough to hold my palette to the easel, yet gentle enough that they don't damage either item.
Honestly one of the simplest items but they work so well and will be used for many aspects of my video making! The clamps expand pretty wide and clamp down tight, they are sturdy and have multiple threads for attaching arms. I do wish those thread holes were on the "top" or "bottom" instead of the back but I guess it takes away from being able to twist open and close the clamp.
Super sturdy clamps. Only complaint would be that the sliding adjustment bar is rather long and can interfere with something already attached to the clamp. But this is entirely depending on how everything is arranged, and whether or not you are attaching the device first and then clamping everything to something, or the other way around. Not a dealbreaker. Installing the clamp first, then adding the device is logical in most cases, but be mindful. Bar could also be removed if need be, and tightening could be done with something like a hex key. In any case, a highly recommended flexible piece of gear.
I was looking for a small clamp to attach to the lightstand and these SmallRig clamps are just what I want. They are well made and good quality. Best of all, they are very affordable to have a few around.
