PERFECT! This L bracket is a great accessory. I like the extra bump out for added support/grip to my camera, the white center positioning lines on both the horizontal and vertical sides of the bracket, and the magnetic screwdriver that stores under the camera on the bracket frame. The magnets on the bracket are strong, so it keeps the screwdriver secure and is there for you anytime you need it. Love the bonus shutter button becaue I just got my camera and it didn't come with one. Thanks so much SmallRig!

You have to remove your necktrap to install this thing... not good since I must switch back and forth. Does NOT work for me at all. Another example of OVERDESIGN and not caring about vital details.

Have used SmallRig cages in the past, and really appreciated their design, quality and price. Not this time. This cage requires removal of your neck strap, with is a non-starter for someone who must use a single camera for many purposes. There was NO NEED to design the cage in a way that interferes with the camera neck strap. RETURNED.

It is light and very practical. Very comfortable to use
The Smallrig Cage for the XT5 is fine if you don't want to plug in a microphone. Once fitted on the camera the triangular camera strap clip is forced downwards over the microphone jack blocking insertion of any mic cable.
