Fits on 15mm rails. Supports lenses. Does what it needs to do. This support in particular should be used with 'taller' setups. If you lower it too much, the bottom will stick out, potentially imbalancing your rig if you set it down. There are shorter supports from SmallRig and others should you need them.

I love SmallRig products. Most of what I buy from them works very well. Unfortunately, this particular lightweight support falls short for me. Literally. I've tested this support on all of my lenses and all of my cameras, however, no matter where the Y bracket comes in contact with the length of the lens barrel, one side of the rubber padding does not make full contact, thus not giving any of my lenses full support from both sides of the Y bracket. I've tried reversing it but then I discover the same occurs on the other Y bracket arm. Unfortunately I had to return this item.

I bought this for a makeshift rig so that I could attach a loose anamorphic lens to my build without attaching it directly to the lens. It works well! However, if the anamorphic was any larger, this may not have given it proper support.It feels very secure when attached to rods, and has a great vertical range. It will get in the way of a bottom mounted mic, but that can be worked around. Overall a good purchase.

Love these smallrig components. They are every bit as good as the big box camera gear brands and a fraction of the cost.This lens support is great. I?d recommend using a riser with whatever rig you have this on because the stem can get in the way. Otherwise I believe they sell a similar support with less travel.
I realize there's a shorter model but it was back ordered so I gave this a whirl. For the price, it's got great construction. But I need it to be maybe a quarter-inch shorter so my camera stays balanced when setting it on the ground. Can't complain really when you look at comparable products.
I bought this to support my large Sigma 50-100mm 1.8 lens and it’s been fantastic so far. SmallRig always makes solid products and this is no exception. I debated on getting the smaller version of this, but I am glad I went with this version as it fits both my sigma 18-35 and 50-100 lenses perfectly. Shipping was super fast and I couldn’t be happier.
SmallRig stuff is very well made, I have a cage for my EOS R and a handle. The steel and machined quality is top notch! The only downside is that the riser is longer than I anticipated and I can't slide my camera off the tripod with this on, but that's because I don't have a quick release or the right base plate, but this works great.
Works as described, helps keep a larger EF lens solid on the mount. Worth noting that the 2.1 inch adjustment is pretty considerable, so depending on your rig there may be some excess sticking out the bottom, making it tricky to rest the rig/camera on a table.
This is a well made lens support as is most of SmallRig's products. Thus far I have no complaints. Works as intended, at least for my Rokinon lenses. There might be a few lenses out there without enough non-adjusting barrel surface to rest on the Y bracket but I haven't run into this situation yet.
I use this on rails with my Canon C 300 Mark II camera and many different lenses. It does the job of supporting the lens, however the bottom piece makes it so you cannot put the camera down without it easily falling over. I wish there were some adjustability for that.
