The Tripod is well built and has many adjustments. The reason that I purchased this tripod is the way the camera / laser level attaches to the unit, the attachment plate is heavy duty and most tripods have a weak attachment plate that breaks easily (from what I have experienced)

works great as intended. very adjustable from the fluid head to pan to tilt. im curious to see how long the tension will last within the different head parts but for a first, i have no complaints. the legs and latches and great and its surprisingly light yet strong. holds my F55 and Zoom H6 no problem.*with the setup mentioned above and pan all the way loose, you can literally spin the camera around several times before it finally slows down. smooth stuff

You need a solid tripod with a fluid head for smooth panning when making videos. These are well-built and I would recommend them to anyone with a small budget.
Very nice small fluid head tripod. Handled a 8mm Bell & Howell 252 and a Bolex 16mm H-16 just fine. Don't know about my Arriflex BL though. The tripod would support a video camera with no problem. Easy set up of the legs and I felt secure mounting my cameras on the quick-release plate. It's a keeper.
