SmartLab - That's Gross Science Lab

A neat kit but had to purchase a list of ingredients eg: borax, white craft glue etc. which is in small print on the front of the box. I thought it may have include sachets of the dry ingredients needed. Still fun though :)

Cute idea for a gift, but be forewarned....36 additional items are needed to play with this set, some you may have in the home already and others you will need to buy. Not a great thing to find out on Christmas morning when all the stores are closed. :(

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old

My son likes science and excels in school. I decided to buy this for him as a Christmas gift/ He hasn't opened yet as it is a Christmas gift but I am hoping he will like it. The only downside is I felt it was overpriced ($24.99) for what you got, but since I used rewards I decided to give it a try. I bet after Christmas it will be on clearance for at least half off.

Experiments not included Don't waste your money

Promise of 26 experiments is total BS! I can use cups and spoons where are the ingredients for all of these experiments my kids want to do. Im not a store and I certainly don't carry Borax! I bought one for each of my 3 kids and we all are severely disappointed.

Fun, age appropriate set.

This is a fun item to use "gross" ideas to explore science at home. The experiments are easy to understand and complete which allow for use with a younger population that what is listed. My main issue is that there is a large amount of items that are needed, that most people don't have at home. In very small print on the box it does say that household items will need to be used, but I really wish they were able to include that somewhere on the box. Be prepared to purchase some gelatin, and corn sryup at the very least.

It would be good to

It would be good to have the ingredients in it to actually perform the experiments. Its like wasting your money on a book of instructions that says go buy this and that and mix to do the experiment. What a disappointment. i could have read the instructions for free on internet.

Lacking ingredients

Unfortunately the ingredients for the experiments are not included and many are not items that that most would keep in their homes therefore it was not possible to do most of the experiments.

Looks fun

This is a Christmas gift for a 7 year old. I think he will like it. The price was good and it shipped quickly. Another Zulily success!

Not worth it, does not have any ingredients....

Not what I expected. it is just plastic things to do experiments in. Nothing included to do actual experiments. You need to supply everything else.
