Apple continues to improve the product, faster, better resolution, improved camera but most noticeably significantly improved battery performance. The larger screen is a huge bonus for elderly eyes and it is still just about wieldy and light enough to use with one hand. There are a few glitches that, on rare occasions require a reboot but no doubt Apple will sort that with an IOS revision now that user feedback is available. A good purchase that represents a worthwhile advance over my previous iPhones. JL's performance has been exemplary although selling my old phone through their affiliate partner is proving to be a protracted and frustrating experience.

First, Apple made it seem as if the “pink” was going to be hot pink like my 10th generation iPad. This pink is more of a purple-ish light pink. I traded in my purple iPhone 14 Pro-Max and got $830 in credits spread out over the next months beginning after the 2nd month, So I’m only paying $150 for this phone, which is nice. I really upgraded to try out the new Apple Intelligence. I upgraded to iOS 18.1 Beta to try these beginning features out and they’re alrighhhht. I mean I’m sort of impressed. But not really. AT&T did a wonderful job throughout the entire ordering/shipping process. They made it very simple and efficient.

Upgraded from a Xr model. The camera options are quite nice. I do like the new option of silencing the phone & the satellite phone safety options etc. The back of the phone is matte black and doesn’t leave fingerprints or smudges. Arrived a week after ordering. I did have to change to an eSIM with this one. I’m also a bit disappointed with the charging cord as it’s a double sided C-port which is completely useless for the apple charging connector I already have. I do love that I got 1000+ rewards points for this order though.

16 Plus iPhone is functional and stable. Had pixel 3a then 6a; both worked; then didn’t. Apple stated goal of providing functional equipment is a major deciding factor. Manufacturer’s want to be 1st; but forget equipment needs to work, not just have newest features. Last straw was pixel blocking work related numbers. I can block calls/numbers if needed. Don’t need a nanny deciding what to block; then fail by blocking what I want. Can live without blocking, can’t live without an income. Hoping Apple will continue to provide functional equipment.

I was sent the wrong phone. I returned it to the AT&T store and ended up exchanging for the one I wanted, which was the 16 Pro Max, but something happened with that transaction. I had to return that one And do another purchase for another 16 promax I never saw any tempered glass from the original purchase that turned out to be the wrong one. I never Ordered a 16 plus it has been a pain in the butt from start to finish. I’ve been with AT&T for going on almost 20 years now I just want my phone. I’ve wasted about a full day trying to get this right and time and distance and travel and gas and frustration. Terrible experience of 5 HOURS to trade in two iPhones for the 16 Plus yesterday. I went in the store at 12:45 PM and couldn’t leave until 5:45 PM. They tried to complete the sale for 5 HOURS on the new phones with Verizon and backed out my “pending” orders two times and told me sorry can’t get it done. Then I waited over an hour to get my two old iPhones phones to work again and get my credit card refund back from a GEEK squad tech working through my two receipts. The sales person was sorry but the manager wasn’t sorry. I asked for some in store credit for all the hassle and the store manager Bri asked if $25 was okay as she placed the store credit in front of me and walked away.
