Works great, no complaints. It's an easy to use machine you just move the handle above the Smeg logo horizontally to select the intensity of the grind. For example you would move the handle to produce a coarser grind for something like a French press or to finer powder like grind for an expresso. The button dial at the front below the logo you turn to select the volume, giving the option of how many cups you want then press down the start button on the dial which will light up and the machine will start grinding the coffee beans. The rubber seal on the container keeps the ground coffee fresh, and the design looks good.

Build quality is great, looks amazing but "fine" setting not enough for mid to high end espresso machines. still coarse on a max "fine". not enough even for double wall baskets. Very good for geyser "bialetti" 3 bar mokapots and drip coffe makers but wouldn't recommend for espresso 16bar machines. if you need one Bezzera BB005 is fantastic but twice the price.

So glad decided to purchase the Smeg coffee grinder. It is quiet, easy to use and does a great job of grinding exact amount of coffee required.It also looks great and does not take much space. The coffee tastes so much better when made with freshly grind coffee. Highly recommended.

This was my 1st go at grinding my own fresh coffee beans and have only used it twice so far.I found it easy to use, looks great on the bench, is not noisy and seems to be great quality.I'm very pleased with my Smeg grinder and the excellent service with a smile from the Appliances On Line Team.
Had this grinder for a year and the whole time was blaming our coffee machine for the bad coffee, turns out it was this awful grinder that couldn’t grind the beans even close to what they needed to be. Ended up buying a new $3000 machine thinking our old machine was the problem then was wondering why the new machine also didn’t work well, our inquiry into what we were doing wrong led us to the grinder, got a new grinder and now finally have the coffee we want.
