The cooker is wide and spacious. There burners have the perfect variaty of outputs so you can cook multiple dishes at the same time. The oven heats up super quick and has a precise temp control. However it takes some getting used to with the way controls are set up. Overall it looks great and does an outstanding job.

This is an unbelievable oven and leaves the style over substance Ilve I had for 18 years, for dead.The cooktop however needs some improvement. Trivets are not heavy duty enough and buckled after 18 months. Also annoying that you have to use the extra wok adapter trivet to keep the wok burner lit. The fact that the trivet is buckled annoyingly makes any pot you put on it wobble so your pot can't stay level.Smeg kindly replaced trivets but unfortunately when it happens again in 18 months cooker will be out of warranty

Fantastic oven - preheats to the required temperature extremely fast. Easy to use- lots of functions but simple. Looks amazing. Haven’t use the pyrolytic cleaning function yet but is a huge bonus. Accessories storage drawer is great. Only down side is that the covers/cooktop that sits above the gas burners has become scratched very easily by standard use of sitting pans on top
This stove is wonderful. It is accurate and does what it says it will do. It does make a clicking sound when it is heating up but we have got used to that now. It is part of the perfectly normal operation. The hot ring for the wok has blistered quite badly but it is usable. We are very pleased with the stove and have received excellent customer service from SMEG.
Oven works well and has good features but is a disaster to turn on, change temperatures and work timer. The two knobs allocated to these numerous tasks needs a PhD to work out. It’s clunky, not intuitive and I would NOT recommend this oven to anyone. For an expensive oven it should be far easier to use.
Recently bought this white Portofino oven with matching white Portofino range hood. Very disappointed as immediately on installation it became apparent that the white range hood was not white. Smeg eventually supplied a replacement hood and the colours still do not match. Oh, and the cover is missing on the extractor tube as that arrived dented
The Oven controls are terrible - they are so complicated they render the oven on the verge of being useless. Unless you have a PHD in computer science avoid this oven at all cost. The design of the oven controls is a total fiasco ! The manuals are hopeless , the YouTube guides are useless as overseas they have fixed the issue with simpler controls. SMEG need to cease sales of this oven until the issue is fixed. Truly a design disaster
I bought one....Broke one of the 3 top griddles, and now they're asking for $290 for a replacement. If this is an example of Smeg backup, STAY AWAY !! because for certain, one day in the future, you will be facing their gouging.
