I’ve been using this shampoo on my thick, dry hair for a few years now, and have repurchased many times. I tend to rotate my hair products as needed. This is my go to product for those times that my hair is unbelievably dry and unmanageable. As a shampoo being used on dry, fragile hair, I would say it is formulated perfectly. The lather is moderate, to the point that you feel like your scalp is being cleaned, but the hair is not being overworked and damaged by a ridiculous amount of lather. Overall, I’m a fan of MoroccanOil products and this experience only further confirmed that! This conditioner was very creamy in its consistency. I wasn’t a fan of the scent unfortunately, I couldn’t quite place it but it smelled similar to plastic somehow. Thankfully the scent didn’t linger in my hair after rinsing. This conditioner has argan oil, Vitamins A and E, and moisturizing red algae to help hydrate and condition your hair. It’s also color-safe, sulfate-free, phosphate-free, and paraben-free. This has been a tried and true product for so many people I know. My mother used this on us growing up and our hair was INCREDIBLY silky to the tough! I recently purchased this and I don’t even know how I lived without it. My hair has so much shine and bounce since this doesn’t weight it down! Also helps tame frizz. I like to apply on damp hair and then touch up when needed through the week. The best oil/hair serum you will ever use, trust me!

Better than Olaplex!!!

Ok, so I’ve had my hair box dyed and professionally highlighted on and off for the past 3 years, so to say my hair is damaged is an understatement. Before Moroccan Oil, I was using Olaplex and IGX Good Behavior spray to keep my hair frizz free and soft. I had some MO Light and fell in love with the smell, so decided to try the shampoo and conditioner. WOW! Seriously… WOW! I’ve only used the Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner one time last night, finishing up with MO Light and let it air dry. Then this morning, I straightened my hair and finished with MO Light again. My hair has never been softer and I was pleasantly surprised to see how I have next to no frizz!!! I’ll forever be a MO customer… The smell and the results are unmatched!

DIMETHICONE -& pay for your own returns!

I know you can’t see the ingredient list until you receive the bottle, so let me inform you this product contains dimethicone. For a company advertising and charging to be superior.. it is not. I will not put plastic in my hair or down my drains. It is ruining the planet and nothing about dimethicone is natural. You may have a “nice result” but it’s the same garbage they put in generic conditioners that I’ve been trying to avoid. Coating your hair in plastic will only make it worse, and it’s impossible to get off. Save your money and get a different set. In addition to this, I’ve been a repeated loyal customer with the repair set. I made the mistake of switching products. Good conditioner

The smoothing conditioner is good. I gave it four stars because I’ve only used it once so far. I like the product but I hope it will help to smooth my hair more after more uses. It smells okay but not heavenly. The one thing I noticed is that my scalp didn’t feel itchy within several hours after using it. That’s awesome! I’m very sensitive to a lot of shampoos/conditioners. I’m crossing my fingers that I will end up loving this product.

Is chemical burn possible?

I love the scent. And I love the size.The price is rediculous.Beyond that, every time I use this shampoo and conditioner, the amount of hair that comes off my head is enough to start collecting for my own extensions. After 24 hours, my head starts to itch, as if it’s completely dried of all my natural oils, and I feel like I have been chemical burned. My hair is still frizzy, well, what’s left of it on my head. And my ends have been splitting so rapidly that I invested $200 on Olaplex to help repair what this product is doing to me. My hair isn’t even dyed… I’m just a normal redhead.Super sad my scalp is reacting in this manner!

Moroccan oil is my favorite

Moroccan oil is my favorite shampoo and conditioner of all time. I bought a small set on Amazon and it was great but I was afraid of fake products so for my next purchase, I went to the source to buy a big set. I’m so disappointed because the products feel so fake. The conditioner doesn’t make my hair feel smooth instead, very sticky. I compared the products with the small set I bought on Amazon and the color is off white instead of a bright white. I don’t even know what to do. I bought a large set of shampoo and conditioner and the hair oil. I spent over $200. The oil is great but the shampoo and conditioner was a total let down. Fake??

I have tried all of the different shampoos and conditioners and this one is the best match for me. Leaves my hair baby soft! I have long, medium, fine, straight, somewhat coarse hair. It requires maximum hydration that is balanced and doesn’t weight it down, because it is long and fine and could easily be weighed down, but I have no complaints about the weight of this conditioner. It is great for my daughter’s hair and my mom’s as well! Pleasing the entire household of women! The extra volume condition was the last one I had and this was the worst match for my hair. I experience pretty serious snarls on a regular basis and I have never had that before.
