Bottles are absolutely fine. It's a shame i ordered the wrong ones as they don't fit the soda stream I ordered at the same time. Money wise not worth returning so they are doubling up as drink bottles until I find someone who has the appropriate soda stream. My lack of knowledge as to what goes with what.

Check compatibility with your SS machine

Carbonating bottles twin pack are very elegant. They are supposed to be compatible with Soda Stream. However my red SS model which is approximately 8 years old cannot accommodate them. Assume the newer, less curved SS model will. So, be aware of this. Despite this I am using this as a water bottle. If it had been a more expensive item I may have exchanged.

Convenient and reduce plastic bottles

Good looking, easy to use, convenient to have fizzy water at home anytime, and save the planet as we use to buy bottled fizzy water.

Feature or fault

Polished metal base is fresh look.This base metal footing turns and can be removed. Is this a feature or fault. No info apart from not to be put in dishwasher. Does not fit new glass soda maker. It fits Aarke 3 Carbonator.

Fizzy Water? Yes it is.

It's a Sodastream bottle, it goes in my Sodastream and makes things fizzy. It fulfils my expectations of having fizzy water.

Great looking bottles that keep in the fizz!

Apart from one bottle having a loose bottom (the stainless steel parts seem to only be glued on), these bottles do a better job of holding the fizz in the water than the regular plastic capped bottles. The one thing I have to say is, ignore that fill line and fill it 1-2cm below that mark or it may leak out during carbonation on the highest setting (this happens with the Source Element, and was even worse on the Power machine which we returned, as it would over carbonate and water came out and kept dripping. Great bottles, but a lil expensive for what they are. Great if you can buy them on sale.

New and Improved Soda Stream bottles

I find this slimmer design easier to store not only in my fridge but also in the cup holders of my car and I like the silver top and bottom. The top doen't feel plasticky but a much stronger feeling cap. Very impressed with them. Would definitely buy them again

It is hard to write a useful review of a bottle, even two of them. They're well made and the tops screw on firmly but if you have the soda stream machine you'll already know this as an identical one comes with it. So why buy two more?Two reasons. Firstly, if you are using several different flavour concentrates then it is logical to have a separate bottle for each one so you have access to whichever you fancy whenever you fancy it. Even if you don't use concentrates, as it is easier for the machine to dissolve CO2 in cold water, and the colder the water is the more CO2 can be dissolved in it, it is an excellent idea to keep the bottles already pre-filled with water in your fridge to get them really cold and only "gas" them when you are about to use them.There's ... MoreIt is hard to write a useful review of a bottle, even two of them. Great product! My soda stream helps me and my family hydrate better - these extra bottles make that even easier! UTTER RUBBISH!

Totally disappointed in these. Was expecting them to be higher quality than the cheaper ones from normal Retailers but I've gone back to using the all plastic ones. The 'Metal' base fits loosely so it rattles when you pick it up & put it back down & the base continuously falls off. Also the bottom of the PLASTIC Bottle protrudes past the Metal base making the Bottles pivot so they're unstable.
