Put on top of my electric range. I still use the oven, but i have stopped using the hot plates as this induction cook top makes control of cooking a lot easier. Increase or decrease temps fast with this cook top.Best buy i have made so far

It does everything it’s supposed to do without any trouble. It’s a little noisy but it’s not as noisy as a kitchen exhaust. Works well.
This product is great if what you are wanting to cook is fine with the preset temperatures. Using both plates at the same time on the other hand is not easy. You cannot have the temperatures on the settings you want and even if you want a lower setting on one side it will automatically jump it back up to a higher temperature depending on what is selected on the other plate!
Sadly this product failed on the 3rd use. One of the hot plates ‘popped’ and never started again. The whole unit has been packed away as ‘a bad experience and purchase’! I can’t even get a technician to come and look at the unit - even after appliances online said they would. I’d just love to get my money back. I’ll even post it back to appliances online to help them out. I’m putting this one down as a ‘do not buy - do not recommend, and do not believe the hype’.
This is a very useful small lightweight cook top which we tried out on our camping equipment as they had the correct bases.
