This is my best purchase. The best perfume I have ever tried. Good packaging, strong plastic and a reliable lid. The packaging does not leak. Easy to use. I was looking for a perfume with a sweet caramel smell, I tried a lot of perfumes from different brands but none can compare with Sol de Janeiro 71. The smell is just wonderful. The smell reminds me of caramel popcorn but after a while only notes of caramel remain. The smell of alcohol is present only at the beginning and quickly disappears, literally in a minute, The smell lasts for a very long time. I can smell it even after 3 days, and sometimes longer. Sweet, warm, creamy, nutty, rich, yummy sensual, cozy, comforting, and decadently delicious. I really pick up on the sweet and creamy salted caramel, rich vanilla, warm tonka, bean, and decadent macadamia. If you like Cheirosa 62, but want something that’s a more rich, deep, and decadently sweet scent, then you might really enjoy this one. It’s super warm and yummy… definitely a wonderful sweet gourmand treat! This is a fragrance that I think is best suited for the fall and winter. I think it could be too rich for the warmer months of spring and summer, but would work well for the evenings and nights. This smells just like caramel popcorn balls, and I freaking love it. This is a true gourmand. I mean, the very definition of it. This is pure, dessert sweetness with no trace of the “perfume” smell. I smell caramel corn, and snickerdoodle cookies. This is not for those that don’t want to smell like very edible baked goods But I sure as heck do. I cannot stress this enough: if things like pink sugar are too sweet for you, then this is not for you. Longevity for me is a couple of hours, which is decent for a perfume mist. Absolutely love this fragrance!

I ordered one bottle of this originally to see if I would like it because it has all of my favorite notes and I absolutely devoured the first bottle! It smells amazing and I like how long lasting it is? I can smell it on my skin right up until I take a shower again and it’s like the water from the shower reactivates it prior to washing my body so you get that aroma in the shower as well. My friend did tell me she got cotton candy vibes from it, but I don’t mind! I love how it smells and how long lasting the wear is. As long as it doesn’t smell bad to me or to those around me, I’m a customer for life lol. The only thing I wish this did have was a refill option like some of the other fragrances. Smells like popcorn, and the scent lasts a long time! This will always be my second favourite perfume/body spray. I really love the packaging as well, it is very preppy and adorable. I would recommend this body spray, i would say it is defianatly worth the price, and if you are looking for a sol de Janeiro scent I would reccomemd this one. It also is hair safe and makes your hair smell incredible. Finally, if you are looking into what size to get, I would get the jumbo because it will last so much longer and is probably WAY more worth the price. You can also get the matching bum bum cream to go with it which will moisturise your skin and it is always nice to have matching scents in your routine, it just ties your whole look together. This fragrance Cheirosa 71 is a strong and intoxicating sweet gourmand scent. Right off the bat you get those Caramelized Vanilla & Macadamia Nut notes. Greatest perfume I’ve ever smelled in my entire life.

I’m super picky with perfumes, and I had gone into Sephora to smell the Sol de Janeiro scents since they were trending, and while they were pretty unique I didn’t like really any of them because I don’t like floral scents and what not. But when I tell you- when I picked up 71 and sniffed it I immediately bought it. It’s nothing like I’ve smelled before. I genuinely have never bought anything faster. As soon as I walked out of Sephora I went online and bought the big version in the middle of the mall. I spent like $60 on perfume that day.Some people find it sickly sweet or it smells like caramelized/buttered popcorn to them but I don’t smell it. I think it depends on your interpretation of the scent and how it settles on your skin. To me, the macadamia smells like caramel popcorn, and I personally love it! It’s sweet, but there is also a salty note there that stabilises the macadamia. If you are worried I’d recommend trying in person. But to me, I absolutely love it! The first time I smelt it I thought it smelt too much and overpowering, but after returning to the store and smelling it for a second time, I’m in love with it! It smells more salty on my skin, salty caramel popcorn is the most accurate description. This is my second mini bottle and I will mostly purchase the full size. If you felt that Cheirosa 62 was not sweet enough for you, you may like this as it has a stronger caramel note. However if you feel that Cheirosa’62 is sweet enough or too sweet then you might find this one cloying. Contrary to reviews online, this isn’t that strong or long lasting, at least on my skin. smells like burnt food or cheap sunscreen

I saw the comments warning that it smells like burnt popcorn but I also saw the comments saying it smells like sugar cookies. I'm OBSESSED with sugar cookie smell. ever since I had covid my brain is in love with sugar cookie scented things: candles, body wash, lotion, body spray, etc. so when I saw people saying that's what this smelled like I was SO excited. man... I cannot even begin to explain the major let down that was this perfume. it smells like burnt, like black on the bottom, stuck to the pan, crusty dusty coconut macaroons. I am not even sure where the coconut note is coming from either..
