It takes so much (good or bad) for me to leave a review on a product. I had a little sample packet of this and the conditioner from the VIB sale last month. I saved it for today as a self-care/pamper day. Unfortunately, I put the shampoo from the packet directly onto my hair and it came out in these gross chunks like I just popped the most painful pus filled pimple. It smelled so rotten and as sticky on my fingers I was pulling clumps of it out of my hair in the shower. I was so traumatized that I didn’t even try the conditioner. I love their Bum Bum cream but this was absolutely disgusting..

Honesty other than this product smelling incredible, it does not do much for your hair. Yes, it'll make your hair soft but my goodness does this leave buildup!I generally wash my hair once a week and I do have an oily scalp. I ALWAYS double cleanse and my first wash is with a clarifying shampoo. I always use a normal shampoo as a second wash and I was super excited to try this. I purchased mostly for its 'frizz control' abilities. Although I did notice a difference with frizz - there was less of it, I didn't find the shampoo cleansed thoroughly enough, even after double-cleansing. That made my scalp both itchy and greasy after a few days of using this. Some great ingredients in here: Coconut oil and Acai berry oil being my personal two favorites, but not much point purchasing for those alone when the overall formulation isn't strong enough. My hair/scalp IS quite oily keep in mind, so for drier hair/scalp types this may work well. I was about to cancel my order after reading too much into the reviews but also after getting a great price on this set… but I’m so glad I tried it FOR MYSELF… I tried the spray first because I wanted something that I could take to the beach and have heat protection and UV protection from the sun but also hydrate and this is AMAZING!!!! It even tops the colour wow money spray! It’s so good and leave the hair SO SOFT and smelling amazing!!!The shampoo is soooo luxe! I saw a few comments saying it was drying but I have thick curly hair and this was so nourishing and premium! Absolutely loved!! The conditioner is also amazing I wish there was a bigger bottle of it but it’s sooo luxe too! This shampoo is wonderful! Smells just like the bum bum cream. One thing that people might not realize is that you only use a little bit of shampoo. It will not foam up a lot like traditional shampoos. Just add Marie water as you are massaging it into your hair. The bottles seem small, but like I said a very little amount goes a very long way. You will not be disappointed with the shampoo or conditioner. Be prepared for people commenting on how nice your hair smells.
IM ACTUALLY IN LOVEEEEE!!!!! Before this shampoo, I was totally lost. This shampoo is GREAT, better than great, because it has a good amount of product, you don’t need too much, it smells absolutely amazing, it isn’t that expensive, and it is soft on your hair! I have fine hair, and after using this shampoo, k didn’t really need to use conditioner! It was just that soft!! The smell is so wonderful that I might consider buying the 62 perfume scent, which is what this shampoo scent is. I pair this shampoo’ with Monday Conditioner and they are a beautiful duo. I wanted to try this shampoo and conditioner after I saw it online. I have loved every Sol De Janeiro product I have tried, so I thought I would give this a shot. I will say, it smells SO GOOD! I love to use especially the shampoo just because of how good it smells. It makes my hair feel clean for sure. However, I do think it is causing my hair to be frizzy after the shower. Even when coupled with the hair mask from Sol De Janeiro (which could also be the reason for frizz), I feel my hair turns to be frizzy the next few days. Other than that, I do enjoy this product but need some more time to think about it
