Solgar Ester-C Plus 1000 MG Vitamin C - 90 Tablets

Ester-C is buffered and easier on the stomach. Vit. C is good to help your body fight colds. The big reason I like this form is because it gets rid of those black aging spots that I get on my hands and forearms. If I bump myself on something I get blood bruising, this Vit. C breaks it down quickly. The aging spots are gone. It is a pretty big pill to swallow but I take it carefully and drink lots of water to get it down.

Best Vitamin C for me

Been searching for the best and by that the most effective Vit C for me. I had a weak immune system and because of that I had German measles when I was young, then pseudo tumour that had recurred several times over the years, Bell’s palsy in 2005 and gall bladder operation in 2018.I also observed that I easily acquire cough and flu whenever I had been with someone infected in a room or at the office. So I never stopped looking for a Vit C that would somehow strengthen my defense esp with the onset of the covid-19 pandemic.Grateful that my sister recommended it based also from a recommendation of their company doctor.I felt a boost in my immune system.

This version of Solgar's vitamin c comes in the form of an ester, and the ester is the most useful form of vitamin c. Even 4 times stronger than other forms! And in addition, this product has even 1000mg. Great product! I have been using Solgar products for many years and all products are of extremely high quality, so this one also lived up to expectations. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion, the normal formation of collagen for the normal function of the skin, and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. I live by the sea and drink vitamin C every day as an antioxidant (I also use it topically in the form of a face serum, other brand of course :)).

It being a pandemic and all.. I have no problems taking 1000-7000mg of Solgar’s Ester C depending on the day. Also though in the past I had had issues with adrenal insufficiency and Dr. Stephen Phinney from Virta Health has said on YouTube that your adrenals just need more vitamin c and electrolytes. I may start drinking more lemon juice in the mornings but.. specially when I feel a flu coming on I just take Ester C until I literally feel better. And it happens pretty quickly for me. Excellent Product so I keep buying it. I double up during flu season. I like that it comes in a glass bottle, although once the bottle did break in shipping. Protective shrink wrap made product salvageable though and this only happened once. The advantages of a glass bottle is worth the risk of breakage IMHO. The actual capsules have all been high quality (no funky discoloration or smells. No color or size variations between bottles etc) My Significant Other and I both got flu shots this year. He still got a terrible bug that lingers for weeks. In the past I usually catch anything he gets, but not this time. This is especially significant because I take strong meds for RA that compromise/ suppress my immune system. I take this Ester C regularly. Can't remember why I chose Solgar, but can assure you I researched my options at the time, and I chose Solgar for good reasons. Probably should do your own research to see what option is the best match for you. This product is a great choice for me. Also note that previous to taking this Ester C I took a lot of regular Vitamin C. (I still take a some) but did not observe the above positive trend until I started taking the Ester C. LOVE this vitanin C because of package quantity, good taste and size of tablets. I got the one with 90 tablets, love the ingredient list - no gluten, wheat ,dairy or sugar and supports immunityBeen looking for good vitamun C for a while and tried differend kinds...this on is my favorite thanks to it's low acidity and how easy it goes through my stomach - as person with Crohn's desease it's hard to find a high quality and potency (1000 mg!) vitamins, glad i have this ones!

This vitamin C is great!

I’ve been using the solar brand for years. The ester C plus 1000 milligram vitamin C tablets are large. But effective. A medical professional recommended this brand and I’ve been using it for myself and my 96-year-old mom (who is a vegetarian) for a few years now. We crush her tablets to make it easier for her to take. (I called the company to ensure that crushing it did not compromise it’s efficacy. They assured me it does not. And It does come in a powder form. A naturopathic MD recommended a minimum of 1000 mg of vitamin C - 1 to 2 times a day to keep both our immune systems stronger, especially in the mist of the Covid crisis. Would def recommend this vegan friendly product.
