The sound quality is beautiful.. when it works. Over the last several months of owning my Sonos it seems to be very common for the app to tell me it can't find my system, it walks you through the steps to recover it but that rarely works and then it directs you to reboot your router and eventually do a factory reset on the sonos products. If you don't have internet, you don't have music however, if the sonos is plugged into your HDMI ARC on your TV you will still have audio for that. Hopefully Sonos can fix their app and it's connectivity issues. In the future I will buy a wired system that can play music without requiring internet / wifi.

I purchased this system (with an additional subwoofer) to experience "spatial audio" and Dolby Atmos. I researched and read/watched multiple reviews before purchasing. The difference in sound quality is like going from mono to stereo, maybe even more dramatic. The immersive sounds from itunes spatial audio playlists are astounding. The Era 300's create a soundscape that blows peoples minds. I can't say enough how happy I am with this purchase. I truly believe that this is the best, most well thought out sound system available.

Sound is great, setup was relatively easy.Only took about 25 minutes from unboxing to using with the latest firmware installed and TruePlay tuning completed.Overall, I've always been satisfied with Sonos hardware, but wish the Sonos app was more reliable (crashes and bugs) and easier to use (UX has only gotten worse with each update).Definitely recommend hardwiring Ethernet connection to as many speakers as possible to improve connection stability. I have Fiber internet + top tier router and still have issues with connectivity in my house. (1 floor, <2,000 sq ft).

The techs set the system up for us, but it seemed very easy. We have the surround sound on all the time and it is really enjoyable.My brother told me not to get wireless surround because he had trouble with a different brand, but this system is flawless and never out of sync.Whether it's a movie or sports, you have immersive sound, especially since so many things are filmed with at least 5.1 these days. The quality of this sound is so much better than my previous system. Even when you watch an older program, you get quality voice audio, while the back speakers stay silent.
Already use Sonos amps with ceiling speakers in other room for many years to listen to music and radio and wake up alarm. As Sonos allow discount on previous replaced units I took opportunity to upgrade for surround sound speaker bar system. Pleased with easy setup and sound. Good results with normal Sky system but when streaming 4K and Dolby Atmos from my Apple TV very impressed with quality. More so because my room is not perfect for listening as open at one side. Clear Dialogue within soundstage. Have not used rear speakers yet because of room problems but so far the subwoofer does enhance without being noisy and overwhelming which some subs do. If rears don't work in my set up will use elsewhere in house or to other family members.
Room is 35 x 22...(Zone 1) two subs diagonally from each other in opposite corners, arc on fireplace mantle, 300s are the surrounds. (Zone 2) Pair of ones opposite corners of 300s... only use with music when I prefer LOUD. (Zone 3) Move in corner of Kitchen under cabinet. Absolutely Love It!Everything is set up Truplay even the ones are synced together. Sounds amazing. Spatial audio immersed myself into something i have never experienced ever.The arc, two subs, and two 300s are amazing and versatile for everything you throw at them.Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon Album in Spatial audio has me speechless.Great Job Sonos!
I have it in my living room and having the ability to have the vast choice of quality music coming through a sparkling, involving set up is amazing, and that is not even including awesome movie sound! I am really enjoying my evenings a whole lot more just chilling out with beautiful music is just such a wonderful way to drift into the night. I'm planning inviting my friends for a party night that will be a different proposition altogether, loud and energetic, sorry neighbours! This system can do it all. Tremendous, I'm delighted. At my advanced age I'm confronted with typical hearing shortcomings that come with the aging process.Never the less, I'm enjoying this setup with my 4K TV. The Sonos app allows me to have fun playing around with different settings. The soundbar is a model of clarity, and the sub, to my ears, is as satisfying as the many audiophile grade separates I've auditioned over the past 5 decades with my movie collection on disc of over 1,500. This is my first (and likely last) wireless surround set up and it works flawlessly. Thank goodness, no more miles of wires to try and hide from view. Should have gone this way years ago.

It's crazy to think it's been out since 2020 and still is competing with every other sound bar producer that releases a new one every year. I replaced a Vizio sound bar with sub and definitely sounded better and is more clear the only thing missing was the deep bass and rumble that a dedicated sub brings. However for the whole year i had I honestly can say I didn't feel like it was lacking seriously it's that good. Fast forward to 2023 and for my bday my wife got me the Gen 3 Sub and a pair of Era 100's. And I don't even know how to describe how adding those components took the sound experience to a completely out of this world level. That is smart cause for someone who doesn't just have $2500 to drop on a home theater you can do it at your own pace and like I mentioned since they don't replace products every year for people with thigh budgets who really want to enjoy theater quality sound at home you can do it slowly without the worry of your products being outdated month or 2 after you just spent your hard earned money on them. So to wrap up this long winded review yes, Sonos is the real deal premium price for an even more premium product and best of all you can build your dream set up at your own pace. If you have been debating I'm here to say go for it you won't regret it.
