We wanted a small, smart TV to replace an existing, unsatisfactory one from a cheaper brand. The Sony screen is clear, bright and adaptable to different uses e.g. photo viewing, streaming etc. Most important for us and the reason for the purchase is that we have unstable NBN wireless internet and wanted something better able to cope with transient dropouts. The Sony has been a significant improvement in that regard.

Excellent

Bought this tv for a bedroom. It has excellent features and great picture quality. Easy to navigate the smart aspects of the tv and has great settings for sleep timer. Also has no standby light which is amazing! Means it doesn’t shine on you while you sleep. I have a ps5 and the picture looks great, the only upgrade that could be done here could be 4K. Although the picture quality is still incredible

Great Quality!!

Brought this around christmas time. We purchase a much larger Bravia tv for the lounge room for the PS5 and its perfect so decided to get a smaller one for the bedroom since the previous one was dying. I mainly use this TV for the Xbox Series X, works perfectly. The quality is really nice, defiently can see a difference. The audio sounds nice, doesnt echo or sound off. Really easy to use, easy and quick set up. I like how the remote has the number pad. Much easier than the other Bravia we have that doesnt have the number pad. The screen is clear to see. I like how i can connect the tv to google home.

Great TV but...
5 January 2023

Picture quality is superb and the remote syncs well with the Shield unit connected. However, I am annoyed that I have been unable to connect via my ethernet cable. The TV recognises ethernet is connected but says it can't find the connection to the router even though the corretc password was entered and accepted. The wireless connection works flawlessly but being an old cable guy I would prefer a hardwired connection.

Great features
28 March 2023

I bought it a month ago and we are so happy with all the features. Easy setup and looks great on brackets in our bedroom. Remote control is clearly labeled. Always happy with purchasing from Sony. Money well spent . We have another in the lounge room which is over 10 years old now and it’s still going that’s why we purchased this one for our bedroom as cheaper brands didn’t stand the distance.

Great quality tv, easy to use
27 January 2023

I’ve always had good faith in Sony products. This tv doesn’t disappoint. There’s plenty of settings to customise sound and colour, it was easy to set up and the sound and picture quality are good. Perfect for a bedroom tv. You can also use voice control which is cool. My only gripes are: the tv guide for the normal tv channels is a little slow (not really a big deal), and i wish the remote buttons were glow in the dark! But in saying that, the button placements are logical and is fairly easy to memorise the buttons to use the remote in the dark.

Many features!
30 March 2023

I bought this TV a few weeks ago and have been pleasantly surprised by how many watching features it has and how easy and fast they are to switch from gaming mode to cinema mode: Complete with great graphics and detailed High Definition. The only issue I have with the TV so far is that it seems to freeze without the internet being connected constantly; if you choose to install it as a google TV, it needs to be unplugged as it's unresponsive. The power button is also hard to find as it blends in so well and its placement on the TV but it does exist!

No regrets!

I’ve been a Sony fan for 20 years. I compared this to same size TVs of other brands and this won me over due to the operating system and available apps. There are only a few dislikes but they are minor, so I definitely think this TV is worth getting. Things I love about this TV: 1. Picture quality is great 2. Plenty of options in Settings to customise the TV such as picture colour, etc. 3. Voice control via the remote. 4. Light weight and made of quality materials. 5. Easy to navigate the menu’s and the layout of the apps. My only minor gripes are: 1. The TV guide for regular tv channels is a bit slow to load the program info. But I guess this may be a common thing for most TVs. 2. The remote does not have glow in the dark buttons. It would be a great improvement if ... MoreI’ve been a Sony fan for 20 years. It would be a great improvement if they were, so I could see the buttons without the room lights on. 3. There are some small gaps between the fascia surrounding the screen, and the screen itself, but I think this may be normal construction of flatscreens. It’s only noticeable when looking for it though and does not affect the operation or viewing quality of the TV.

OK TV
31 March 2023

I brought this tv about 6 months ago as I wanted a small smart tv that offered airdrop, mirroring, and all the NZ smart tv aps. Occasionally it drops the connection when doing airdrop, which is then problematic to reestablish. It's very slow to boot up and slow to open some of the apps. Picture and sound quality are good, and we love the remote control. Voice control for searching is great. Nice compact feet that let it sit on a small table.

This Tv has excellent picture and sound quality. Very easy to setup for your own personal taste. Bluetooth and internet have been flawless. Apps are simple to access and download including Kayo and Foxtel go. The remote has designated buttons for Netflix Prime, YouTube and Tv. Media app makes it easy to play from your USB sticks Would recommend this TV for all ages for hassle free quality viewing
