Bright and vibrant colors, Incredibly realistic contrast, and an array of smart features come together to make this Bravia from Sony the center of your home entertainment experience. Movies, TV, and games benefit from Sony's Cognitive Processor XR and the brilliant self-lit pixels of Sony's OLED panel. OLED delivers deep blacks and bright, colorful imaging that's only enhanced by a temperature sensor that precisely controls the TV's lighting. Sound is truly immersive, as actuators vibrate to use the entire screen as a speaker. Gamers will enjoy dedicated tone-mapped HDR and specific Game Mode settings. Both shows and games are easy to find and stream thanks to built-in Google TV and BRAVIA CORE.

I paired this with the HT-A5000 sound bar using the 65A95L as the center speaker, which made a noticeable difference in the audio compared to just the TV alone.I already have the 55A80J and, size notwithstanding, the 65A95L is noticeably better in brightness, gray scale detail at the low end of the scale and colorimetry. Nice improvements in typical Sony fashion and worth the money, IMHO.

Best TV ever! It lives up to all the YouTube reviews and looks as good at home out of the box (w/out professional calibration) as it did on display at Best Buy. It excels at movies, news feeds and TV shows (I'm not a gamer so I can't evaluate that). I prefer the bright (for OLED) Vivid picture setting for everything. Everyday, I can't wait to get home a be a couch potato.

Expensive but Below my Expectation
12 November 2023

I bought XR-65A95L this month. It is expensive and costs me much. Before receiving the delivery of it, I thought my payment of this Sony TV should worth. Unfortunately, I am sharply astonished that the TV is not user-friendly. It has no "UK Catch Up Apps" nor the BCC iPlayer, which is very common and most of the people (including me) always suppose it should have been built in or could be easily downloaded from the app.(surprisingly lower level of Sony TV can have "BCC IPlayer built in). For "Sound bar", the cable provided to me is not enough. I have tried to look for help and support but all failed. I paid for installation but could not get it done. Up to now, I am still looking for some-one to help me. So, I look for your sending technician or some person to help ... MoreI bought XR-65A95L this month. It is expensive and costs me much. If these cannot be remedied and these enjoyments cannot be given, how can I recommend Sony XR-65A95L to my friends.

Gamers BEWARE, only 2/4 HDMI 2.1 ports & 1 is eARC
29 October 2023

This TV may be amazing in just about every way.. but for some dumb reason they cheaped out on HDMI 2.1 ports. This won't matter to most people, but only 2 out of 4 of the HDMI ports support HDMI 2.1 allowing 48gbps signals. This matters if you have multiple next-gen consoles or may get them in the future. If you plug your Xbox Series X or PS5 into one of the non-2.1 ports, you'll have several features and capabilities turned off and limited. To make matters worse, one of the two HDMI 2.1 ports is the eARC port. So if you're someone who wants to have a sound bar and be able to change the volume with your TV remote rather than a separate remote (amongst other benefits like better sound), you now only have 1 HDMI 2.1 port to work with. It is difficult to find good quality HDMI 2.1 splitters. Why you can't include 4 HDMI 2.1 ports on a TV that costs minimum $2800 all the way to $5000, I do not know. Personally I have an Xbox Series X, PS5, Apple TV, and eARC sound bar. So yeah, just be aware that it's going to be a headache if you're in a similar situation.

Incredible picture but some audio sync issues
29 October 2023

As others have mentioned, the picture on this TV is incredible. There is an issue with syncing the audio when using AppleTV and HomePods via eArc as the Home Theatre speakers. In trying to research this issue, it has been mentioned that the Dolby ATMOS audio and the incredible picture processing are what is to blame. The reason I feel confident the issue is with the TV and not the AppleTV with HomePods is that when I use the AppleTV with HomePods via eArc on my XBR65X950G (a 4 year old Sony) the sound is in perfect sync with the picture.I hope that there is a software/firmware fix at some point in the future, but for now it makes it difficult to watch a movie/TV with Dolby ATMOS.I still recommend this TV because of the fantastic picture quality and that if you ... MoreAs others have mentioned, the picture on this TV is incredible. The Bar Has Been Raised
3 November 2023

This TV represents the culmination of display tech over many decades and is the pinnacle of what self-emissive displays can deliver. There is still room for improvement in the realm of grayscale uniformity (the only reason I docked a star, along with the cumbersome Google OS), but manufacturers ultimately have to decide between good enough and (almost) perfect in the quest to increase yields.

The King of TVs A95Legend
4 October 2023

This is honestly the best TV ever made. Period. It does everything just so well. Have you been annoyed at the near black handling and poor dark scene performance of WOLED? Have you wished your TV had tremendous color volume? Have you always wanted your OLED to be as bright as an LCD but still maintain those inky black levels? Well then my friend, this is the TV for you. This 2nd generation Sony QDOLED has exceptional color volume, very high brightness for an OLED and uses that brightness at the right times in the right places. And Sonys XR processor is now well polished and with the added XR clear image feature, the picture looks phenomenal. Even low quality low bit rate content is cleaned up nicely. If you’re on the fence, just hop on over and take the plunge. It’s ... MoreThis is honestly the best TV ever made. Period. It does everything just so well. Not to mention the incredible out of the box picture/color accuracy, excellent sound design, and user friendly intuitive Google TV based software. And it won King of TVs for 2023 at the Value Electronics TV shootout. Sony has done it once again. You can’t go wrong with this TV. Especially in 77 inch size for immersive viewing. Just call it the A95Legend

Wonderful picture
27 October 2023

I bought this on the day JL first had stock for sale, so I'm writing this after about 3 weeks' experience with the TV.It is near perfect, with just a few minor niggles. Most important is the audio output. When used with a Sony soundbar connected via eARC, all other audio outputs (including the optical output) are shut down. My wife would like to use a hearing aid adapter with the TV, but there seems to be no way of connecting this when the audio is routed to the soundbar. The only other (relatively unimportant) issue I have found so far is the naming of the HDMI sources, where the names I have assigned to the sources on the TV are always over-ridden when displayed. The sound with my Sony soundbar, subwoofer and rear speakers is also excellent. I had delayed buying a new TV for 6 months, waiting for the A95L to be released, and despite the high price, I am very pleased with my purchase.
