I bought these earbuds as a “cheap” alternative to my Astro A50 headset for long gaming sessions. I’m delighted to report that these are wonderful, durable and effective ear buds. They come with multiple ear bud cushions for different sizes & a pouch to carry them in. They have a microphone built in & you can adjust the sound directly from the small control box built into the wire. They’re light enough to forget you’re wearing them. Great noise cancelling.

Excellent Audio quality! Cannot ask for more from Sony. Bass is great as well as treble. Balanced audio output. I am enjoying these on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus as well as on S22 Ultra. Works perfectly with USB C to Audio Jack adapter. Wired earphones are still best and hard to beat the convenience due to No battery anxiety. It is just me but I prefer wired earphones over wireless.

I recently bought a Walkman to decouple music listening from my IPhone since all those FLAC and high res music collection was pointless listening through an Iphone with Air pods Pro and also get away from constant emails and notifications. I could see a major difference when I switch over to my desktop DAC AMP setup with HD 560s, DT 770 and Philips X2s. My Sony 1000xm3 over LDAC caught up well with the wired combinations but it was too bulky. Being away from wired earphones for a while, I went through an old box which had Bose sound sports (the most comfortable earphones) , CX300 and then found an old Sony XB75 earphones . If you want a good pair of low impedance earphones with some extra fun bass without killing mids and highs.. this is it ! Im impressed how it drives the sound under $50 . Simply put this earphone is not for bass heads , it’s for folks who listen to music with a bit of bass to bring that fun factor to a flat signal . And I bet this will last me another 6 yrs plus if I don’t abuse it.

This is my third time purchasing these headphones. They are comfortable in my ears, the music sound is good and there is plenty of bass (for small earbuds), and the mic works very well for phonecalls (unlike some other headphones I've used). The price seems reasonable for the quality level.Unfortunately, my first two sets of headphones broke. Both times the left earbud stopped making any sound. I always took care of them and never handled them roughly, so it's a bit of a mystery why they stopped working.Both times BestBuy replaced the headphones at no charge. They usually last me about a year before they break, so I will see how long the third set lasts me. Hopefully, Sony has improved the durability this time.
AirPods Pro or other Bluetooth headphones don’t always work for me, when it comes to attending meetings on the computer. I was using Skullcandy earphones, around $18-20 range from BestBuy, they were decent but their mesh, filter speaker covers poppped out while cleaning, and ever since then they don’t sound the greatest for some reason.I had some Altec-Lansing and Apple earphones but I wanted something else a bit nicer. I got these and they are phenomenal. I mostly use these for work and volume 10 is more than enough , when I’m on the work computer. These are not only the best wired earphones I’ve used they’re also very very comfortable in your ears.
I bought this to replace my Sony ex155ap earphones. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. The sound quality is definitely better and there is definitely more bass. However, you can only hear more bass when you use the bigger size earpiece. If you use the smaller earpiece the bass is very flat. Also, these speaker drivers are larger and heavier than the ex155ap so it is not as comfortable. It’s still comfortable but just not as comfortable as smaller earphones. But that’s the trade off to get better sound and bass. I peronsally don’t think this is worth the regular price… but we’ll worth it on sale.
These earbuds are really nice. They have a nice quality to them and are pretty sturdy. Over a prolonged period such as a year or so, the twisting and wrapping the cord around your device can cause them to short out. As long as you do not snag the cord or bend it repeatedly this product is quite nice for the price. They are not in my opinion noise canceling; but the sound for music and conversations is rich and robust.
I've compared this wired earphones to other wired earphones and thought they are way better than others. The sound quality is overall superb. I like the bassy sound. The stereo sound is definitely great. I can hear the sound clearly, from the softest to the loudest sound of instruments, especially in music. The sound is already clear, loud, and powerful even when the volume is only at a fourth or third setting. When the volume is raised passed halfway to full blast, the sound is still clear and not distorted. When talking to someone, there's no distortion, static, or buzzing going on. The person I'm talking to can hear me crisp & loud & clear. The design is excellent! I like how the wire is flat, which prevents it from being tangled up. I like the earphones are angled, so they very comfortably sit securely in the ears and not fall off easily. The silicone covers for the eaphones added more comfort. Last, I like the angled tip that connects to the phone, so the tip is easy to disconnect without pulling the wire. While other earphones with straight tip, sometimes it's hard to pull it, so the tendency is to pull the wire, which ends up extending & destroying the wire. Overall, these are the best earphones I've had in decades, so I highly recommend these earphones.
There's a lot of white noise on a jet cruising at 39,000 feet. Some is the rush of air around the plane, some is from the engines, and some is from the interior air circulation system. The ear buds the airlines hand out do nothing to block those sounds, and I usually had to turn on captions to understand the dialog when I watched a movie on a long flight. I wanted something that would attenuate that whooshing noise so I could enjoy the movies. These do a great job. They block all that noise and I guess the bass boost feature helps with the overall sound so that I can easily hear the soundtrack, both dialogue and music. I bought a second pair (the price had gone up $10!) a few months later for my wife, and she agrees about the sound.
I like to use wired headphones every now and then. I had an old pair of generic wired phones that served me for many years. They finally gave out and I decided to get the Sony's since they were on sale. They are adequate around the house and walking outside. They are not noise canceling as I tried them on a plane flight. Bad choice. Use a good pair of noise cancelling headphones when you fly. Bottom line - they work, they are average and if they are on sale, they are a good buy.
