Let me begin by saying that I am just in love with these earbuds and I just purchased my second pair. The sound quality is great, especially for the price, but not excellent, for that you will have to spend a lot more money. It's not overly emphasized in one area over another just a nice clear sound. The build quality is also another great aspect of these headphones, but not excellent. The element of these earbuds that completely made me fall in love is the design. I have always used earbuds because of my anti-social nature. However, one problem that I always encountered with using earbuds is that after extended periods of use my ears would get fatigued and tired, so I would have to take breaks and take off my ear buds. When I first got these earbuds I didn't think they were that special, but that all changed when I put the on. These earbuds are the smallest ones I have ever put in my ear and I love it. They're so tiny that I often forget their in my ear and I will leave them on even while I'm not listening to music anymore. Honestly the design of these earbuds is far better than the design of many premium earbuds. In fact I would consider this design as one of the best on the market! Just buy these earbuds stop wasting your time looking for better earbuds because you won't. Plus they are so affordable!

I bought these to use with my laptop for work conference calls. The sound in the earphones is excellent and everyone has mentioned I come through loud and clear on the microphone. Zero complaints. The right and left earphones are also marked which I did not expect. No need to spend $100. These do quite well.

Broken right out of the box. First, it was mislabeled at $20 or something, get to the register and it’s $50. But whatever, I needed new headphones right, and there aren’t many wired options anymore. The little button thing that’s suppose to pause/play would incessantly cause my music/YouTube to stop of its own accord and/or voice activate my phone. I’ve tested other pairs, it was just a problem with these. The problem is the headphones, not the device. Headphones wouldn’t even produce sound at all from laptop audio port. Will never buy headphones with start/stop button again. It is always annoying when you accidentally hit it, but these would just stop randomly, completely hands off, every 10-60 seconds. Gross waste of $50.

I'm giving these earbuds 3 instead of 5 stars because while they do sound pretty good, they fail miserably in their build quality, I bought these a while back after being truly disappointed in the newish EX14 earbuds which were to replace my EX15 which I loved! The EX14's sounded horrible by comparison. So I went back to bestbuy and bought these EX155 earbuds. As mentioned before the audio quality is really good on these! But the build quality isn't very good, the coloring on the housings is only a cheap plating of somekind, after a few weeks of use it started to scratch up in my pocket and eventually started to rub off a few weeks later. I replaced both sets of earbuds with JBL T110 for only $13. I replaced both sets of earbuds with JBL T110 for only $13. (the T110 sound just as good as the EX155 but with a little more bass heavy tuning). I wasted $30 on two pairs of Sony earbuds. Not going to make that mistake again, Sony won't get anymore money from me until they improve their materials. It's a shame because I only used to buy Sony products, in fact I still have my Sony D143 CD player from childhood. It still works great! Such a shame.
I needed some simple, inexpensive earplugs that were compact and easy to use with my laptop when away from home. I have a much better quality set already for home. The Sony plugs I got have been perfect. They're very simple to use, with good reproduction for a lower-end price range product. They pack in their transparent pouch easily and are simple to get out again. I feel the ear sponge pieces are relatvely easy to lose, but otherwise I'd recommend my earphones if you need something that plugs in and works right away without the need for a long set-up or a degree to get them to work! Also, they won't break the bank! I used them to chat on MSTeams / Zoom and the receipients had no issues with reception at their end.
These headphones are probably the best bang for your buck. They offer nice bass, mid and high ranges, though the mid to high range gets quiet/tapers off if that makes sense. Still more than listenable and ok for music. Gets the job done without any glaring issues. Other great factor, the size. These hardly stick out of your ears they way other "SUPER MEGA ULTRA BASS" headphones do. They're actually comfortable and won't fall out since they aren't so dang heavy. Only thing that might push people away is the the jack is an L-shape, has it's pros and cons depending on your set-up.
Rubbish. Wish I hadn't listened to the reviews online and the sales person in the store.Hissing sound when not talking, people can't hear me very well and mic is too far away from mouth. I asked if these would be as good as my old pair and was assured they would be but they are not. My old pair, which have been through the washing machine, are much better so I've gone back to using them. Complete waste of money.
Super comfortable, powerful sound, long lasting, and everything you need in earphones. Also amazing value for the price. Accidentally went swimming with them in my pocket, still managed to last five months after before the right earphone broke, but the left one kept going. Obviously they last a long time so long as you don't do what I did...
First try, great sound. The wires don't seem thick, but the sound is there. Use this only for long trips and remember that you have wired, earbuds on you. Some people forget that. Be careful when using wired, earbuds since it's all delicate.I bought it for 32 bucks, but as long as it sounds good not muffled and it has good audio latency. It's enough for my ears. I hope these last a bit longer.
These headphones were only worth the price because I bought them on a 50% off sale. They are NOT worth it when full price. They also do NOT have active noise cancellation. The description of this product on Best Buy’s website was extremely misleading at my time of purchase. ANC was the main reason that I bought these over other options. Anything more than $15-20 for these is not worth it, in my opinion. The earbuds themselves fit comfortably in my small ears, which has been hard for me to find in the past. The microphone works well enough for a Zoom class as well. The controller can’t control volume, which is unfortunate.
