I'm venturing into wedding photography so I need several batteries on hand as a backup, so I ordered two of these. I really weighed my options of either getting the cheaper brand batteries or these Sony ones. From my research, someone mentioned that when they were in the middle of filming with a non-Sony battery, if the charge ran out mid-video, it would corrupt that video file, but that didn't happen with the Sony one. To some, that might be a totally negligible difference and it would be worth it to save from a generic brand. Because of the nature of weddings, I just feel safer investing in the Sony battery because I trust that it's a smarter product. I would love it to be cheaper but my peace of mind is priceless and it lasts a long time on a charge so I feel ... MoreI'm venturing into wedding photography so I need several batteries on hand as a backup, so I ordered two of these. Sony's own official Z battery for their Alpha mirrorless cameras. I picked up an extra one to assure I don't run out of battery power for an extended trip this Summer. And the original battery assures there will be no warnings from firmware updates. The longevity of the battery is also another plus. Most OEM batteries have more capacity than rated as a reserve for long duty life. Good quality!

I love the new USB-C port that companies are putting on NP-FZ100 batteries. It makes it so much easier to charge up in the field with a larger battery pack, so I can alternate between two NP-FZ100s with a battery pack and be ready to go all day, rather than having pockets for charged and then discharged batteries.Plus, I can forgo a specialized charger if I'm on a trip and want to just bring one big USB charger for all my electronics.I just reviewed a non-name-brand 2-pack of these batteries, and they were too big for the camera's battery slot (even before any chance to heat up from use). That's scary, since it could ruin the camera trying to pry one of them out.I didn't have that problem with this one, or with another popular trusted brand's version. I've been happy with products from K&F Concept, so I'm fairly confident recommending this one.
I’ve been using this battery for about two weeks in a Sony A6600. The original battery, NP-FZ100, is long lasting. I shot 50 photos with this battery at full charge with minimal discharge of less than 99%, which is normal with the original battery. After a week of non-use the K & F Concept battery was still at 99%, which is very good. Both batteries have the same 2,280 mAh. I’m giving 5 stars as the battery performs. The only advantage I see is the battery can charge without a charger outside of the camera. As it’s possible to charge any NP-FZ100 battery in camera. If you do need to change this battery on the go you only need a USB-C cable and a charger or car adapter to charge this battery. One less item to pack in the bag!
I recently got a new battery for my camera, and it has been an excellent addition. This battery is truly a godsend, providing long-lasting power that keeps my camera running for extended periods without needing a recharge. It’s incredibly reliable and ensures that I never miss a shot, whether I’m shooting photos or videos. The performance is consistent, and it charges quickly, making it very convenient for on-the-go photography. Overall, I’m very impressed with this battery and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable power source for their camera
This K&F Concept battery has the same specs as the original: 7.2V, 2280 mAh, 16.4 Wh.It can be charged on my Sony charger; I like the fact it can also be charged by just plugging in a USB-C cable and the mini-LED light signals the charge state with either green or red -- I don't get the exact level from that mini-LED though. When I connected the battery to my power bank it has drawn 10W power. It performs subjectively very well, and I like the color feature of the battery also very much. I take several batteries with me on a shoot and being able to identify them by color helps me picking the empty or full ones easier. The cover protects the contacts and the USB-C port from dust and crumbs.
Purchased a Sony A7Riii and an extra battery a few months back. I was quite impressed with how long the factory battery would last in comparison to my previous camera, a Sony A6400 with factory NP-FW50 battery. With the A6400 I would need extra batteries, many extra batteries! To save money, I tried a few different aftermarket batteries. They would work for a time but eventually would swell and stick in the camera body, the Sony factory batteries were superior. With the move to the A7R, I would get three times more life out of one battery.I had ordered a third battery as a backup just before a week long trip into Maine. Only had to swap into the second battery towards the end of the week even after 3000 shots and video, many using AF-C! However the factory batteries are trouble free and worth the money from my perspective. Good fit and finish, I have yet to have one stick or swell.
