A massive upgrade from PS4!

Games load fast, look beautiful and are very smooth with no stutters or lag. It feels awesome to be able to go from fully powered off to playing a game in under a minute. If you leave it on rest mode you can quick resume games instantly! Even just navigating around the menu feels much snappier and more responsive than it does is on PS4. Installing game updates and patches takes seconds unlike the minutes/hours it can take on PS4.The controller feels more sturdy than PS4s and can produce more subtle and accurate vibrations. While the triggers on the back can also vary how much resistance is required to pull them. This means that games can simulate the sensation of pulling the trigger on a real gun etc. It sounds lame but it really does make the game feel more ... MoreGames load fast, look beautiful and are very smooth with no stutters or lag. If you’re used to your PlayStation sounding like a 747 at cruising altitude. You’ll love how quiet PS5, mine is silent on the menu and makes a slight hum when playing games.I picked this bundle since controllers are harder to find on sale and the games that get bundled usually get reduced in price over time.Overall I’m really happy with my purchase and highly recommend picking one up!

The PlayStation 5. It's a great console but I feel the library of games is a little too small to enjoy it fully.A lot of people mention it feels too much like a PS4 Pro and this feeling is important for my review - I'm not blindly ranting here. I won't fully discount that thought and I feel it veeery slightly too but also many developers are making games that are still cross gen (for PS4 and PS5, ex: Resident Evil 4 remake) since I guess not enough people have moved to the PS5 from the shortage in stock. In that sense, we're still playing games made for PS4 but are more HD on PS5. We do have some exclusives as obviously the game that comes with this bundle. I dislike the fact I no longer have access to themes like on PS4. I really enjoyed my Final Fantasy VII Remake theme for it.We're already... about 2 years into the life cycle of this console right? While I love my PlayStation 5, I can't say that most people around me are impressed with it and I can't really argue that they NEED to get this unless they specifically want specific PS5 exclusives. And I really want my themes. Huge loss.In Summary, while I love it, I also don't feel it reached a 5.0. Probably.. 4.45~4.55. I'd give it 4.5 stars if it'd let me. I want it to really surprise others too and really make other people want to get it. I'm like one of the few people I know who has one.

From the looks of it I was getting a higher resolution than 1080p and the frame rate was at least 60 fps. It had to be. When I looked around the world the camera turned so smooth I was ecstatic. Not only that though, when Alloy started walking I could tell the difference in the way she ran on the ps5 vs the ps4 it was night and day clear difference. The whole world looked even better which astonished me because I thought it looked nice on the ps4 but on the ps5 it looked breathtaking. It felt like a completely different game. One thing I will add on top of all of this is that when I put my hand near the ps5 I felt cool air coming out of it and only towards the back of the ps5 where all the hdmi and all the other ports are it felt slightly warm. That I was not expecting. Hopefully that means that the ps5 was built to last. I could say so much more but at this point Id just be repeating myself which wouldnt make much sense because everything ive said already shows that the ps5 is next ge

Have you ever felt like you were in heaven? If you haven't, then buy the Playstation 5 where you will game in heaven.

One reason why you should buy the Playstation 5 is because it will give you lots of enjoyment. On the Playstation 5 you are able to jump into specific missions, modes, and quests for the game you are playing. All you have to do is press the PS button which can take you to the control center where you can find the missions, quests, and more. If you are able to go to specific missions on your favorite game you are able to get better and get more rewards that you might not find if you played on Xbox or nintendo. For example, if you play madden you can earn more coins and packs so you can upgrade your team. On some other consoles you might miss these extra missions or announcements that can help upgrade your team to its fullest potential.Another reason why you should ... MoreOne reason why you should buy the Playstation 5 is because it will give you lots of enjoyment. On the Playstation 5 you are able to cross play with any playstation user even if they don’t have a Playstation 5 which was only active on the Playstation 5 and not any others. You are also able to talk and communicate with other playstation users which is another feature that only the Playstation 5 has. If you love playstation but all your friends don’t have the Playstation 5 you have the chance to enjoy gaming with them even though they have a different version of the console. It makes gaming much easier which none of the other versions had the luxury of doing that. It also makes gaming much more fun because you can hop on your favorite game with your friends and have a blast. You may be thinking, “This is way too expensive.” Well the reason why it is a little high price is because it includes any feature you can think of. You are able to cross play with any playstation user. You can communicate with other users and play a game with them which on the other hand for the Xbox series x (newest version for console), you have to manually switch onto crossplay and turn it on and off all the time. The Playstation 5 controller has a built-in microphone so you don’t need to buy a $100 headset unlike Xbox where you need a headset to talk. Many people might not be able to buy an extra headset for $100 or more so the Playstation 5 has a good solution that can help you save the extra money. In conclusion, if you are looking for an upgrade for gaming with enjoyment and uniqueness, buy the Playstation 5 to get your dreams fulfilled. I have played many gaming consoles but there is nothing like the Playstation 5!

Is PS5 worth it? absolutely. I’ve been a playstation fan for a long time now. I’m writing this review after testing my console for over 2 months in every possible way.Hardware1. PS5 is huge, it stands as tall as a regular CPU, but it’s surprisingly calm, it barely ever heats up, that’s a win.2. Sony crafted finest details with their signature squares, triangles, circles and crosses on the inside panels which feels great.3. the new Dual-shock controller is an absolute beast. You will be receiving your PS5 with a pre installed game called “Astro’s Playroom” play that, and feel for it yourself. 4. Love the mute button which they added on top.5. Sony’s 3d pulse headset is highly recommended to take full advantage of any game you play on PS5.Software1. Home screen UI look very polished, much better than last generation consoles. you get to choose the layout of your home screen based on your preferences.2. Now supports 4k and even 8k, super smooth frame rates. 3. Very customizable settings as usual.4. You actually are going to spend a lot of time playing than waiting stuck in the loading screens, thanks to their super fast SSD (hardware point)5. Switching between apps is really smooth.6. Screen capturing and sharing is more easy now, you can also record your voice and your voice chat party over gameplays.7. In love with their PS Memberships, EA collab, and their benefits which gives you access to wide range popular games to directly download and play at a very reasonable price.8. the list never ends.If you’re trying to buy it in India, I highly recommend you to reach out to the nearest Sony Center.

PS5 has become the definitive Playstation

The Playstation 5 does offer a noticeable difference in graphics over the PS4, but it's not the largest difference in history. I feel like PS5 represents the smallest step yet. Nevertheless, it's the system from this generation that I've found the most value in. The seemless integration of PS4 compatibility with PS5 is one of it's biggest strengths. Frankly, I don't know if it would be as sought after if it hadn't had backwards compatibility.Be aware, however, that not all PSVR 1 games behave perfect with it. I found Rush of Blood, my favorite first gen VR game, to run rather buggy on PS5. Don't know if they'll ever patch that.Nevertheless, PS5 brings with it PSVR 2 which is greatly improved over the first generation VR set. Don't know if they'll ever patch that.Nevertheless, PS5 brings with it PSVR 2 which is greatly improved over the first generation VR set. One single cable to power it, and more advanced controllers, not to mention resolution that looks 4 times better. Also, PS5 has many (but not a ton) of the most popular movie streaming apps, as you would expect, and it's also compatible with both Bluray and HD bluray discs (if you get the disc playing version of the console). But the real star of the show has been the controller. Probably the most comfortable and most feature rich controller to date. The most irritating thing about the PS5, however, is its fairly small storage space. 1TB seems like a lot, but not for high end PS5 games, which sometimes can be as large as 100 GB or even more....1TB doesn't go far these days, and the games are so fast, they require a fast SSD and even getting a 2TB one is not cheap. 4TB ones are slightly more ideal, but they remain extremely expensive, often costing as much as the console. I wish it were easy and affordable to just get a cheap 8TB or more hard drive and just plug it in, but don't bother. Even though they work for playing PS4 games off of, they're extremely slow to be recognized by the console and sometimes they just don't work at all and require everything to be reset and rebooted. Prices on SSD need to come way down.

Power Supply+Hardware Issues and Poor Warranty
4 February 2023

Bought PS5 in January, 2021, and had a power supply failure about two months into owning it. Sent it in and it was fixed as it was in warranty. However, now I am once again having issues. This time the issue is with playing PS4 games. I never noticed until it was out of its ridiculously short 90 day warranty because, as you can imagine, I used my PS5 to play PS5 games. My son wanted the newest SpongeBob game released a couple days ago, but it was only released on previous gen. I bought it because PS5 is supposed to be able to play PS4 games. What I discovered was the system would instantly crash when the game booted. I then tried out other PS4 games and found it did this with nearly all of them, save a few. The few it would play would have extreme screen tearing to the point it was unplayable. I contacted support and have to pay nearly $300 to send it in for repair. After doing some research I discovered this is a common issue with the generation of PS5 I own. Sony only allows a 90 day warranty even for manufacturer defects, however, and now I have to pay nearly the price of a new console. I was thinking of buying another PS5 before this happened, but with the way this console has been I think I'll use the money needed to repair it to go towards an Xbox instead. Ridiculous.https://screenrant.com/ps5-crash-graphic-glitch-bug-artifacting-gpu-faulty/ for reference to back that this is a Sony issue.

Good Points: Fantastic console, one of the best available, but for adults only. Not for under 16, Sony will try to control your child via the means of Parental controls.Improvement Points: I brought this for my 11-year-old son. I wish that I had brought him the new Xbox instead. The PS5 parental controls are absolutely ridiculous, all my son wants to do is play Spiderman, but he can't, because PS5 parental controls won't allow it, even though I have given authorisation for him to play the game, it just doesn't work, it wont play. On Fifa, it wont let him play the full game, it has certain rules set which can not be changed. Fifa, a football game, whats wrong with that. He cant even watch Youtube, which is next to insanity when you have a whole generation currently ... MoreGood Points: Fantastic console, one of the best available, but for adults only. He cant even watch Youtube, which is next to insanity when you have a whole generation currently obsessed with YouTube. The PS5 doesn't have parental controls, it has PS5 SONY CONTROL. The matrix is desperate to control every aspect of our lives to the point we cant even let our children do what we believe to be okay. The corporations now control and rule our families, we must abide by them or be cut out of the system. I'm sick of this WOKE rubbish. It's my son, if i say he can play Spiderman, he can play it. I have had to create him a new account lying about his age, saying he is 16+, but he is not. Now I am concerned he has no filters. Whoever arranged parental controls at Sony needs FIRING ASAP, they ruined the PS5 experience for my son, he's hardly played it since he has had trouble with it!! What a waste of money!

Somewhat glitchy but gorgeous console

It's early days but a few observations:1. Set up and data transfer from my PS4 was very easy, though did take a while. Comparitively, when I did a data transfer from PS4 to PS4 all my save data was wiped, so very pleased that wasn't the case this time.2. It had some system bugs VERY early. In the middle of gameplay my controller started drifting and wouldn't respond to any button or joystick movement, then the whole console shut down without warning. This happened twice but ceased after I cleared the cache and rebooted the system through the settings menu.3. Following the previous bug, my console seems to think it's always being forcefully shut down. This happened twice but ceased after I cleared the cache and rebooted the system through the settings menu.3. Following the previous bug, my console seems to think it's always being forcefully shut down. Every time I power up it shows a warning screen that says it wasn't shut down properly and that the system and my external hard drive need rebuilding. This has happened 2 or 3 times. If it happens again I'll be bringing the console back for a return/exchange.The above aside, the graphics on this console are just incomparable. I always thought the PS4 rendered beautifully, but this is truly something else. Even the startup screen is gorgeous! Game and media library is easy to navigate, though I do wish it was a little easier to pull up the full navigation or to shut the console down from the user profile menu. I wasn't a fan of the physical design at first, but even I have to admit it looks pretty good out of the box. Controller fits into the hand well, though the Options/Settings buttons are a little small for me (context: I'm a girly girl with long nails). If I wasn't experiencing those 2 major system bugs it would have 5 stars.
