Sony Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection PS4

A great chance to replay some Playstation classics. The updated graphics look great, and while the controls do feel a little dated and clunky, it’s so great to be able to revisit these titles. While I still think UC4 might be the best of the bunch, this is definitely a must have for any Playstation owner.

I absolutely love the Uncharted series and I can't get enough of it. I love hearing about it and whenever a remastered comes our or a new game I have to play it. This bundle gives me all the goodies in one sleek package that I can't help but love. Nathan Drake is the more jagged edge Indiana Jones minus the professor accolades. He goes around the world finding lost treasure, getting attacked and killing A LOT of people. You find yourself getting stuck in situations that you can't get out of for a while and you find yourself getting mad until you have to look it up. The graphics are dated but with this bundle it makes them so much better and more enjoyable. But it's still so much fun. If you aren't new to Uncharted then I suggest getting this right away but if you are new then perhaps rent it and get a feel of it, like any other game test it before you buy it.

A staple to anyone's collection

The Uncharted games are a must have for anyone's gaming collection!These games are giant treasure hunts that encourage your problem solving skills and keep you on your toes. Remembering that these games have been remastered, patience is key, particularly as the controls in the first game are not so great. Don't let that discourage you though! The game is still amazing and has an epic storyline - and it only gets better from there! If you haven't already played these games then you're missing out!

Amazing Remake of the Original

I got a PS3 about a year ago. I finally got into the Uncharted Series. I started with Uncharted 2, then 3, so inevitably I had to play the first one. Well my PS3 died half way through Uncharted 1. I got rid of my cable TV and was using PS Vue for TV, so I had to replace my Playstation. After some research, I decided a PS4 and this Uncharted Collection was best for me. This games graphics are downright amazing. They still held up well on PS3 in 2016, but man this looks like it was made for this generation now. It is really impressive. Not only that, couple some tighter controls and a Dual Shock 4, the game feels so much nicer to play. They are actually a lot more fun to play with how tight the controls are, and how smooth the frame-rate is, and how good the game looks.

An excellent remaster

Faithful to the original games, which remain as fantastic as ever. The games run at a steady 60fps compared to the original 30fps on the PS3, as well as at a resolution of 1080p as opposed to the original 720p. Anti-aliasing is utilized. Many (if not all) of the most glaringly low-resolution textures have been remade at higher resolutions. I've only played the first game in the collection so far, but the lighting effects are less vivid, there's no more bloom, the saturation of colors and contrast between light and dark has been toned down for a more believable look, and the skin of the characters no longer look shiny like wet clay, bringing the it closer to how the other two games looked.

One of the greatest saga's all in one!

The story alone is worth the price of the game. That should go without saying since it's being turned into a movie. Not just some shooting/fighting game that you press a few buttons to get through either. You have to solve puzzles, think about your next move, and even find little treasures. Decently long games that keep you interested, but not boring or over done.

The best of all four in the series - it definitely delivers!

My husband loved the first three Uncharted games so much that I bought him this one for his birthday back in July, and we can honestly say this one has been the best of them all. It has significantly improved over the first three games in the series in many ways including the highly detailed graphics and amazing scenery. The action is great even for someone in the room just watching! The game-play is upgraded to allow more freedom of movement through the "course" with a more natural feeling approach to obstacles, and there's more tools for getting through and over obstacles. My husband has especially has enjoyed the jeep riding feature - he would love a game that was nothing but mud riding in the jeep if they made it! Thankfully number four in this series wasn't just a marketing ploy to take advantage of fans who loved the first three games - it really is a brand new game with a new plot twist that opens up a whole new story for the foundation of the action, and the improved graphics and features are really impressive. We definitely recommend it!

Uncharted-my view.

I really enjoy the game, but all the climbing, jumping is to me unnecessary and the some of the parts where the character is put in "danger" , some is way overboard. But it's a fun game, dull in some parts (that's where is too many climbing and jumping around and swinging comes into play). Would I play it again.....maybe. Some of the puzzles...wow! Thank the Lord for cheat sheets!! LOL. I really do enjoy the game, waited to get it, got it and I'm happy playing it. I played it on the medium settings. The action is my favorite parts.

First off, the treasure hunting genre never interested me. But after exhausting all of the more interesting titles like the Last of Us series and the Resident Evil series, I decided to give this a try. And it's not bad. Although the story and characters were uninteresting, the graphics, acting and gameplay make up for that. It's a pretty game. Although I didn't care for all that jumping and climbing, there's enough shooting in the gameplay to keep me interested.
