These Sony ones are the opposite. The sound is middling - less immersive and clear that the Audiofly ones - and the bluetooth sometimes takes a long time to connect and occasionally skips - a problem I didn't realise existed until I switched. This is coupled with a constant and noticeable hiss of noise, which I can't ignore. Using these to block out noise and replace it with soft, quiet music is impossible to do pleasantly. I also haven't gotten good feedback when using the microphone in calls, and while I don't mind the voice loopback, others find it insufferable. The build quality is better. The controls and speaker units are solid and satisfying plastic, and the buttons feel reliable and durable. Battery life is also huge. I don't charge them for several days. The magnets that are supposed to secure the ends together are terribly weak though, so I wouldn't think to rely on it to prevent the earphones falling off and becoming lost when not in use - something that is more likely to be prevented by the cable being very - annoyingly - long, which I imagine might be particularly bothersome if you want these for running. I'd also feel nervous about looping the cables together, since it is very thin and seems like it could be damaged or bent easily, while the Audiofly ones were thick, flat, and sturdy. I've instead attached a small rubber clip to keep them together. A salvage from my Audiofly earphones.I saved nearly half price on these, but I'm still disappointed. They have good build quality and huge battery life, but aren't really good as earphones.

A voice in the headset tells the user when they headphones are turned on what percentage of battery life it has, and the voice cuts in when the battery is getting low. I have never run out of battery on them. The earbuds themselves are quite small and thin in size which is exactly what a user wants, this allows them to fully seat in ones ear without the plastic casing around them pushing on your ear or causing the earbuds to fall out. I use the medium size rubber pieces, but it comes with a small and large size too. Initial connecting of the bluetooth is a little confusing and takes some time, but once connected to a device, the bluetooth automatically connects very fast and I haven't had any issues with it. I also run with these. I find the best way to run with these is to wear a baseball cap or beanie and slide the battery capsule sections on top of my head and use the cap to hold them on, this works great for me and the earbuds never fall out or have noise from bouncing around. When doing physical activities definitely loop the cord around your neck so they don't pull off. They do a good job at dampening out sound because the earbuds seat properly in the ear. I ride a motorcycle and these are good for listening to music and protecting your ears from wind noise under 50-60 MPH. Over 60 sound quality is hard to hear with the wind etc, but still are decent until 75ishMPH. The only thing I don't like about these headphones is that the sound quality blips in and out of the highest quality occasionally. Most people might not even notice it, but at times going on a motorcycle or when I am riding a bike or around a lot of electronics etc. The sound doesn't cut out, but you hear the the sound quality degrade from 100% to 90% for a few seconds then back up to 100%. It can mainly only be heard with the crispness of drums playing in rock. For the price, excellent sound quality, and great battery life this is definitely negligible. Sitting at home it never happens. It can really only be noticed if you are listening for it and using it in certain places or activities. I can neither confirm nor deny that these still play to my phone at 175MPH.

For the casual listener

I bought these headphones to listen to music for the bus rides to and from Uni, and it does an okay job.The noise cancelling from the natural seal i was quite impressed with. The comfort i was also surprised with. After a couple hours of listening, they can become 'noticeable.' By this i mean little uncomfortable, though they don't provide any issues after use.One word: Microphonics. This is sound that is created when an audio cable is touched or the cable rubs against a surface/clothing. This is extremely noticeable and can get quite annoying when walking around or trying to use the in built controls. Speaking of such, they don't work with iPhones too well. Though, the box/instructions detail the ability to double click to skip forward or triple click to go back, this does not work.Microphone quality was fine, by what i was told by some friends, the only issue is that the headphones playback your voice for you and the person receiving the call, which is not okay! Finally, sound quality. Eh. They're serviceable. Whenever music plays, there is a slight hiss they produce, and can impact the listening experience, though this can be drowned out if the audio is fairly constant and at a decent volume. If you're an average listener you won't be able to tell the difference, and it's a good purchase, but if you're like me and want a high quality listening experience, these are not it chief.

Good casual headphones

These are affordable headphones that provide great comfort, wireless connectivity, and nice sound quality for the casual user - you wouldn't exercise with these as you'd either hear noise from the cable rubbing against your shirt or from the wind.Pros:The battery life is excellent - when I switch these headphones on, a nice voice will say "Power on" and cycle between saying "Battery fully charged", "Battery about 70%", "Battery about 50%", and so on until it signals it needs to be charged again. The included earbuds are superb and fit snugly in my ears, wireless connectivity is quite fast when paired to a mobile device, and the sound quality is very good with enough bass for the casual user.Cons:The greatest con is the call quality - these headphones will ... MoreThese are affordable headphones that provide great comfort, wireless connectivity, and nice sound quality for the casual user - you wouldn't exercise with these as you'd either hear noise from the cable rubbing against your shirt or from the wind.Pros:The battery life is excellent - when I switch these headphones on, a nice voice will say "Power on" and cycle between saying "Battery fully charged", "Battery about 70%", "Battery about 50%", and so on until it signals it needs to be charged again. The included earbuds are superb and fit snugly in my ears, wireless connectivity is quite fast when paired to a mobile device, and the sound quality is very good with enough bass for the casual user.Cons:The greatest con is the call quality - these headphones will poorly replay your voice to you when you are talking in a call, so these are not suitable for making calls. One concern I have with the prompting is that when you use the headphone controls to switch to the next or previous song, a beep sound is played to signal the song has been changed - this can be a little annoying if you cycle through various songs.Although you can pair these headphones with up to 8 devices, you cannot connect them to multiple devices at a time. This means you have to disconnect the headphones from one device before you can use them on another. On rare occasions the music would cut in and out - this may be due to interfering frequencies or obstacles such as my body. Simply restarting the headphones in these situations resolved the issue.Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. Listening to music at home and during my daily commute feels great with good sound quality and wireless connectivity. The only downside for me is that there was no case included.

Great value for the price.

Very easy to use, great for my use case of listening to podcasts around the house. Previously used larger over ear headphones but was too bulky when walking about.Fairy easy to connect to devices, the built in automated voice tells you when it is powered on, off, connected/disconnected and battery level. The automated voice isn't overly loud like some earbuds I've tried. Controller has simple tactile buttons to control power and volume easily.I like the design, just wear it around my neck and not have to worry about misplacing them. Three sizes of silicone ear pieces included. Wish it didn't have the plastic in packaging, really unnecessary.Comes with a short usb type c cable. No carry pouch/case but easy to pack for travel.

I buy these and stock pile them lol. I’ve tried over 10 wireless and true wireless earbuds and these are by far my favorite. The sound starts at a quiet volume and goes up to too loud and everywhere in between. Low latency so there’s no lag in video and sound. Can be worn with both earbuds in comfortably and with one after modification. I like to put one in and pass the other one through the loop created so the used one supports the weight of the unused bud. The battery lasts about 12-15 hours straight so I wear one through the day and charge the day one when I switch to my sleeping pair. Super comfortable to sleep through the night in. I lose them before they break every time. Usbc charging port is great for convenience. The button usage is super intuitive. ... MoreI buy these and stock pile them lol. I used these for almost a year. I'm a fairly heavy user and the wire on the left ear stopped working 11 months in.The sound quality is fairly good, I've had much better and much worse. Can't say much either way, I don't exactly have a sound quality testing setup but it didn't feel bad.Like another reviewer has said, these are genuinely impossible to use while exercising. Running causes the weights on either side to fly around, launching them out of your ears if you don't hold them down. This has implications beyond exercise too, I almost lost these while running to catch a train for example. The bluetooth means that every time I want to use these I have to turn them on I have to wait approximately 7 seconds, which is such a bad experience. This is my first pair of wireless IEMs so maybe that's standard. On the other hand, these have fantastic battery life. Never had to worry about it in the slightest.Lastly, the microphone seems pretty good? Over phone calls I got a lot of complaints about the sound quality, but I tested it over discord and it was fantastic. Maybe a software issue?

Robust, practical, reliable option for outdoors

Great headphones for walking/cycling/public transport.Good for cycling as long as you keep the volume down so you can hear what’s happening around you, riding with even moderately loud music will significantly increase your chance of an accident. Keeping one ear bud out is another good safety strategy if you’re cycling.Great battery life.Very Reliable bluetooth connectivity without dropping out. MUCH more difficult to lose than a cordless earbud.Sound quality isn’t brilliant but when you consider the sound quality against the price and locations you’re using the headphones (walking/cycling/public transport and not as a home theatre listening experience) it is good enough. The weighted battery on the cord can unbalance if you’re running/jogging fast, but this ... MoreGreat headphones for walking/cycling/public transport.Good for cycling as long as you keep the volume down so you can hear what’s happening around you, riding with even moderately loud music will significantly increase your chance of an accident. Definitely a good, robust & practical headphone for the price.

Who in the World needs 35" of headphones?
8 July 2020

The sound is good, and everything that's written on the box looks great, but the length is ridiculous. No mention on the box, but the stupid thing is 35 inches long! WHO needs a pair of Bluetooth headphones this long? I LOVE semi wired headphones of this fashion. When I'm not actively using them, I'll keep them draped over my shoulders. As a woman, I generally don't have pockets, so the true wireless headphones don't have a good place to go when not in use. When the wired Bluetooth headphones are weighted bad, are too long, or just have too much weight on them (like these boys have) they have a tendency to pull, catch on things and generally not stay evenly on my shoulders.Fine. I'm a bra-wearer, I've started to have to tangle the headphones into my bra just to ... MoreThe sound is good, and everything that's written on the box looks great, but the length is ridiculous. I'm a bra-wearer, I've started to have to tangle the headphones into my bra just to keep in place. NOT THESE THINGS though, no. The spacing of the weights rest perfectly under the brastrap, either leaving the buttons at the least convenient place to press, or maybe so convenient for dj clavicle to get some practice? It doesn't help that the controls dangle from the left side, whereas every single pair I've owned prior to this were in the right ear. Do I choose to always be wrong the first time I look for buttons, or do I flip the surround sound to the wrong ear?The real reason I'll be returning these wretched things goes back to the same reason I wear my hair up: I despise having my face lightly brushed by nonsense. Had the extra length of cord have been on the back of the device, I could have wrapped it up in the spider web I weave back there. There is TOO MUCH CORD in-between the earbud and the control buttons///counterweight. My ears are not on the top of my head, and unless I'm tying back my hair with the middle of the headphones, wrapping around the ponytail several dozen times and tying a giant bow before plugging those buds into my ears, I don't want it and I don't need it.
