Awesome! This is great. Was very easy to assemble, you can either hang over a door, or wall mount it. My son loves it, he has it over the door, it has padding on the back to prevent damage. Great gift idea. Thanks.

We love our hoop! Was easy to put together, built really well & with plenty of rubber stoppers so that there will be minimal rubbing on the door frame.. highly recommended…
I bought it about a week ago and it’s been great to play with, but there a few problems I’d like to point out before others buy the product.My main concern is that on the box, According to Spalding, the Rim is a “180 degree” Breakaway Rim (Photo attached). I’ve compared my Rim and the one in the photo, the Rim it comes with does not have a spring attached and there is no way to attach one, (the spring of course let’s the Rim move down “180 degrees” for light dunking). I have done some research and have found that the Mini hoop they used in the “180 degree Breakaway Rim” photo is a different model. The one they used in the photo, I believe is a smaller model with a smaller backboard. Still a solid product.

Not very stable over the door frame. There is a wall bracket option, which would make it much more stable. Would only recommend you buy this product if your going hang it on the wall.
Purched this for my son and not as described on the packaging and very poor quality. Backboard is way to thin for the size of it. Previously had the cheap $20 ones and they are much better quality so don't waste your time on this one.
At $30:more than similar products i expected better quality as my kids have broken 2 so far! The backboard is similar poor quality to others and shakes alarmingly every time they play. Looks like they have tried to solve the issue by making the ball extra poor quality! Dog had her teeth through it very quickly so we got better quality substitute balls from Kmart!!
We live in an apartment and this is the next best thing to a full sized hoop. Hangs over cupboard doors in my son’s room and is great for just mucking about or taking a study break refresh. Easy to assemble and fit.
