Def recommend the chain. Never do material again. This chain has been the best. Make sure you have grips or pliers to make sure you can squeeze the chain together once you have it up. But super pleased with this purchase and not having to worry about the material nets wasting away in the weather and the fibres coming off as you play.

Used for home basketball hoop. A little fiddly to attach. No instructions on packet.However once we had done a few links it became easier.Has required tightening a couple of times.
Great product! My son loves the sounds it makes. The extra chain links were not needed. The links were fiddly to clamp so use long nose pliers.
Solid net, nice swish sound and fit my Spalding ring perfectly. You do need to manually link the chain net to the ring and close the S hoops with pliers which was a little tedious. Other than that highly recommend it it’s worth the money.
After our rope net disintegrated, the Spalding heavy duty chain net was easy to install and the options of hook sizes mean it is adaptable for different rings. It is doing its job perfectly and should last years to come.
The Spalding Chain Net has been a great improvement on the flimsy lightweight net supplied with the previously bought hoop. It took a little time to attach it with pliers. It makes scoring a goal a great performance.
Why keep replacing material nets and chewing up resources doing it, this is teh second of these we've bought - the prior lasting about 3 years. thanks Rebel - allowing us to save the world as we sink hoops.
The Spalding Heavy Duty Chain is a very high quality net as it never gets demolished. This chain net is an amazing experience. The normal basketball net got ripped into pieces by birds but this chain helped us as no birds can break it. I know this will be kept for long as my net, and if it does get ripped into pieces I know there are abundant of these chain nets. I really love it and it is a tremendous experience.
