Universal replacement rims don't fit Spalding backboards (different bolt pattern width). Check the bolt pattern alignment when replacing a rim. This rim should fit Spalding equipment.

I wouldnt have thought it was so hard to find a decent basketball ring for what I was making, but apparently I was wrong :/ As soon as I found this one though, I knew it was perfect. My son absolutely loves it, and is outside from morning til night playing. Its great quality, easy to install, and a good price. Very happy!

A storm had knocked down my son’s goal, then ram was warped like an egg. I messed around was trying to get one from Wally World, to have them loose the order. Thought this time why not go to the source, which was the better choice. The order was handled like pros, was able to put it up in less than 72 hours of ordering. And it cost less than local sports stores, with higher quality. Thanks Spalding! I will need to get a backboard when I get some money, but you made my son’s Easter.
The rim is pretty nice and works well with most spalding backboards. I was even able to make it work with an ancient Spalding "Easy Lift" backboard after getting a little creative with my dremel tool. While I have no complaints with the rim, I am extremely disappointed with the net. It is the flimsiest, lightest-weight net you could possibly provide and it does very little to provide any sort of meaningful "net action" when shooting hoops. I'd much rather they increased the price another $5 to provide a heavy duty net, or reduce the price some and just not ship the rim with a net.
Assembled with relatively no problems.You have to keep the right point of reference (facing front or facing rear) or it is easy to attach the parts in the wrong direction.The bottom bolts of the rim that penetrate the actual backboard don’t really tighten against anything. A little misleading so I twisted the bolt in two! However, the important part of those two lower bolts remains in place and does not affect the performance of the goal.We put it up in two hours and shot a thousand shots that day.Pretty good product.
Even on the smallest possible backboard, a two foot square; this rim has made our backyard a real Jungle Gym. LaBranch has been blocking at the 3-point range, so hook shots from the bamboo are getting lots of practice.

Kids very happy! Previously bought a $15 one from Kmart, which broke. We were hoping this one would be a big improvement, but it's hard to tell really, the photos on the web don't reveal much.I'm happy to report that the hoop is very sturdy, heavy duty steel and welding, looks nice and works well. The kids love using it.The net is also good quality and I expect it will last quite a while. It was also easy to install.
This should be a top quality breakaway rim, however after only a couple weeks of use and some dunking (never hanging on the rim), the top plate deformed, and the rim itself sags forward a couple of inches. I've had to take the rim completely apart and hammer the top plate flat so it'll be level and the breakaway mechanism would work correctly. I would definitely not recommend this if it's going to be dunked on.
